So, uhm. I suppose I should start by saying hello to everyone that just got here? Also I'm sorry the Lambda dumped you here, we... really aren't sure why it does that. Anyway...

[Fracas dips his head a little bit and taps his claws together. Now to the hard part (for him, anyway).]

Ever since that whole thing where everyone got turned into the wrong species I'm really sorry if I freaked out at any of you by the way, I've been thinking. We've been building a lot of buildings, which is good and all, especially for food storage and a place for people to live that isn't as big as the rooms in the temples, but... why not build roads?

It would make it a lot easier for humans and humanoids to get around, especially if we find transport for them, like... scooters and bicycles and stuff. They wouldn't have to ask someone for a ride unless they wanted to and they wouldn't have to walk everywhere, maybe; this place is pretty big when you're less than six feet tall. And it would be a lot easier on the tires of everyone that has them to drive on something paved. I don't know about the rest of you, but I wasn't exactly formatted for off-roading.

I-I mean, it would take a lot of work, but I think it'd help most of us. Anyway I thought it was just something to consider.

Sorry, we... I... mechs like me don't have a very good track record when it comes to Primes.

[The record is mostly 'horrible maiming and death'.]

Maybe we can find how-to books of some kind? At least enough to get something started. Alpha Trion might have something that could help. O-or Solus. Just enough to point us in the right direction.

[He knows there's a lot of engineers around here, so hopefully that part wouldn't be too difficult.]

And who knows, it might keep some of us out of trouble for a while?

[He tilts his head in a smile. Things have been crazy enough without attacking each other.]

"Mechs like you"? Decepticons? [Excuse her slightly dry tone there, because what else could you mean?]

And if people are going to learn, which is a good idea, I'd hope we could do better than merely datapads... I'd probably prefer a program to upload or something.

[Not that she really... is interested, but if it was necessary that would be the easiest way to do it, in Elita's opinion. She does chuckle at the end, however.]

Perhaps, but doubtful. Some people just can't not get into trouble, no matter what flavour of trouble it is.

Vehicons. We uh. We ended up scrapped more often than not, particularly when Optimus Prime or his team were around. [Or Wreckers. Wreckers too.]

Well... we have to use what we have, right? Gotta start somewhere, even if it's just with reading.

[Working hard to get to the point where he's capable isn't something that Fracas has been shying from. And if he can devote that much to combat training, he'll devote it to this too.]

Heh. That's true... but maybe slightly less of it. We probably have enough trouble already, with the Lambda being... itself and all.

Unfortunate, but that's war. [Especially given the Decepticon philosophy, she's not (can't) be too upset at the enemy forces who wishes to genocide or enslave everything are loosing.]

Indeed, though I can't see there might not be something more than just datapads available, but yes. [She pauses, lightening up slightly from her grim proclamation just earlier.] I prefer hands-on learning, but construction isn't really something I'm interested in.

Maybe, given some of the people here. [She chuckles and shrugs.]

Yeah, I know. But I'd prefer... not assuming I'm going to die if I'm assigned to field work. [The politics didn't matter to him, he just wanted to live.]

It'll take looking to know, really. And I figured. It's not everyone's... cup of tea, I think is the saying. But there isn't much around here that I need to fix, honestly. [And without maintenance, he has to find something else to do with his free time.]

That would be nice, yes, but I'm sure there's a lot of people who'd wish they wouldn't get shot at. [Her glance is somewhat dry, though, because well. If you've not left and aren't hiding out in space, you take responsibility for the politics.]

It is a good idea, yes. I know I should find something more to keep myself busy with besides exploring. If nothing else you've put the idea out there, which is a good thing.

I guess that's true. [He tips his chin down. Hiding and leaving were only options if you wanted the Decepticons to track you down and kill you, which didn't help the whole 'wanting to live' thing.]

To be fair, there's a lot of exploring that can be done. We don't even know what all is out there beyond the Haven.

[Which is what the Autobots have to deal with, both for themselves and protecting other species!]

Pretty much that. [She laughs softly and shrugs.] I don't want to go too far yet, either. I'm fast, but having a vehicle to explore with would probably be better. A flight capable one, I think.

But we obviously also need to make sure Haven is as livable as it can be, given that it's the safest place.

[But Autobots don't deal with it from both sides of the war. They don't throw each other off of ships.]

That would probably be a lot safer, yeah. What with the monsters and all that. There's... really just a lot to be done around the whole planet, whether in the Haven or out of it.

There is... Sometimes you really notice it, the difference between a fully developed Cybertron and this. [She spreads a hand, indicating the room immediately, but of course the wider planet beyond as well.]

Sometimes it's kind of unsettling. [Her lips briefly twist in something like a moue and then she shrugs.] If there was just a button to press and get everything to form, that would be pretty nice.

[Too late for that!]

It's been a while since I was on a Cybertron of any kind. But this... is definitely better than what I remember. [There wasn't much left of it, really.]

[He snorts.] If only everything was that easy. But we have to work for it.

[She'd be sorrier if you hadn't chosen to join such a terrible side, Fracas.]

Better than what you remember? [She shakes her helm.] That bad, hm.

As one usually has to do. A little bit of a push would be nice, but then... The planet isn't actually ready for its regular population, so not much to do about it.

[Well it hadn't sounded terrible when he joined.]

Cybertron wasn't exactly in good shape when everyone left.

I don't know what a regular populate here would be, anyway. Considering there's organics here along with Cybertronians and robots from Earth.

[She nods, and decides not to ask more about that; how many likes to talk about how destroyed their planet is, after all?

Need a better ability to judge the situation, then.]

Well, regular as in the native cybertronians that should, or will be here. I'm not really counting us given that we don't come from this reality, and are here at the completely wrong time, since what would benefit the regular, non-Firstforged cybertronians of this reality would most probably make things easier for us as well.

That's true, but... well, what if we never get home? If we can't make a portal or the Lambda doesn't send us back. Then this is... kind of our home, too. Is what I mean.

[Much as the idea of not getting back bothers him. Even if Fracas likes it here, he belongs with other Vehicons.]

[Elita smiles, even if it's slightly worn and tired.]

There's that. [And practically, she's aware of it, which is why she is doing an effort to explore. Familiarising herself with this Cybertron, even if it is and is going to, change a lot. Make it something less than "strange".]

For now I'm going to have some hope, but yes. We might end up having to consider this Cybertron our home, even if it's not our native one.

I guess I can think of worse places to be. Though I'd rather go home too. It's... really weird being the only Vehicon.

[And it's kind of weird, talking to FirstForged. They were just legends from the Ancients, to him.]

That's true; it's easy to think of worse places. Early Earth, possibly.

[She tilts her helm at that.]

The "only Vehicon"? Gestalt group? [It's the first thing that comes to mind, really.]

Gestalt...? N-no, we just. We're the bulk of the Decepticon's army. There's thousands of us in operation at any given time.

[She doesn't have the same connotations, but she would probably agree if she'd had to stay there for any length of time, so she nods.]

... You mean you all look the same, for no other reason than to create a uniform, hard-to-identify mass?

[Her optics narrow, looking over what she can; she's pretty sure that she'd be able to pick out the individual details of the individuals in any given group - in their behaviour if nothing else.

Yes. Exactly the same, actually, except for differences between automobiles and fliers; we can only really tell each other apart by individual scratches and dents.

And you're not sure if you feel comfortable being the only one? Being... individual. Or, rather, obviously so.

I'm definitely not comfortable with it. I mean, it's nice and all, but I kind of miss other Vehicons.
