re_alignment | [Video] Wreckers Assemble [Part Locked to Bulkhead]

[The feed opens up, showing what looks to be a rough-draft edition of the Jackhammer. Or at least the top of it, anyway. An odd place to have a video post... although it's probably obvious who this is from, now. A little ways away is Wheeljack, propped up on one of the metal sheets of the ship, inspecting his swords. He seems almost...completely engrossed in them, to the point of where this might be an accidental video.

Oh wait, he flicks his eyes towards it once, then back down. This broadcast seems entirely on purpose. It takes a few minutes for him to respond, biting his lip before making an attempt to speak.]

So. With the Police Force up and runnin' the way it should be, forming it's own little clubhouse, I think it's time to make another proposition for ya guys. Ones who may or may not exactly like following rules.

I'm looking for bots, or even some of you organic types to form a team of Wreckers. We had a group here, but all...or most of em are gone. Don't know what a Wrecker is? Here's the rundown for ya: Black Ops. Guys who take missions that no sane commander will take. The ones who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty. We work outside the chain of command, meanin' you're under MY command, not the Police Force or Law Committee.

[He rolls his eyes. This part got him in trouble last time, so he'll post a disclaimer.]

For all you angels of the law, I'm not goin' on manhunts for no reason. So calm your tailpipes before you even start with me.

[And he's back to inspecting his sword, perking an eyebrow.]

I hate paperwork, so just convince me if you think you're good enough. In a spar. I ain't jokin' around this time.

Hey, I know you're part of Team Prime and all...

So I don't blame ya if you sit this out. Family first, right?

[That still felt odd to say.]

Make your way over there, and we'll see how you size up...uh..

Name. I think you gave it to me once...

Wrex. I'll see you at the junkpile.

[Without another word, the feed clicks.

Wheeljack wastes no time in getting himself to the junkpile, pulling up in his vehicle mode. All he had to do was wait for the Krogan, and he'd see just how tough this guy was.]

[Wrex, while not as fast as an alien car, managed to make good time in getting there. The krogan's fitted out in his armor, like always.]

This place sure doesn't change.

Let's get started.

[Wheeljack transforms, giving a nod as he walks towards Wrex, sizing him up.]

You sure you're ready?

[He stops about twenty feet away, strafing slightly around him.]

[Just a curt nod. Let's do this, wrecker.]

[Let Wheeljack be your genie, Wrex. Those swords get drawn out, and put into position as he continues to strafe, surveying the area.

There's a slight step back....

Before he leaps himself into the air, about to come down from above. How good are you at dodging?]

[...huh, giant robot from the sky. That's cool. It's only after a lifetime of dealing with giant things does Wrex know how to deal with them. The krogan skirts quickly out of the way looking for cover.

About time he got some action. Wrex assumes a defensive stance, ready to attack. Let's see what else you've got.]

[Find some cover fast, Wrex, because that New Stratos right there is going to try and pancake you.

Right upon his landing, Wheeljack changes into his vehicle mode. A simple, but effective statement and battle tactic, if he said so himself. He does a nice three point turn, then charging straight for the Krogan.]

[Cover found, just when he feels the vibrations of the found on Wheeljack's landing.

...didn't really notice that before, but questions come after the fight. Wrex is working on one thing and that is winning this fight. The krogan waits for when the the Autobot gets just close enough before leaping right on the hood of the car.]

[A nice, well timed jump, to say the least. Especially at the speed Wheeljack was going at. He'd give compliments afterward. He continues to barrel straight ahead, slaloming around the piles of junk. Normally, he'd transform back. But for now, he's totally pulling the stops on his driving. Hope you were hanging onto something, Wrex.]

[Wrex's not dumb, he knows when to hold on. Wrex is grabbing on the side of the car, lying flat and bracing for impact. Shouldn't be a surprise how durable krogans are, given their humps and all. The krogan grunts as he hits another pile. He's gonna keep hanging on until he sees another opening.]

[So a joyride's what you want? A joyride's what you get. Wheeljack laughs, deciding to make this the ride of a lifetime for the Krogan. His engine kicks into high gear, swerving in and out of the piles, making sure to hit them all at least once. Bumpy didn't even begin to describe it.]

[Wrex braces the impact for the first few times. But after the third time? The krogan had enough. Wrex rolls off the car, speeding into the ground with a heavy impact. Time he played a new game. The krogan, once straightened up, begins glowing blue. With his biotic he picks up a piece of scrap metal the size of himself, tossing it at the car without touching it once.]

[Once Wrex was off the hood, Wheeljack felt a lot more at ease transforming. Skidding to a stop, his body morphed back into it's robot mode, smirking as he turns to face-oh, that's a piece of meta flying at his head.

It connects, and Wheeljack stumbles back a few paces, shaking his helm to jog it back to normal.

...How did he--wait. Is this what he was talking about?]

Not bad...

[Wrex stretches his muscles, chuckling roughly at Wheeljack's little mishap.

He put up a rough fight, he gave him that.]

Same to you.

If all synthetics fight like you, I'll have no problem.

That's all I'll need to see, tough guy. You're hired. If you're still interested, that is.

[He can't help but smirk at the guy's attitude.]

[Growing up on Tuchunka, you gotta have nothing but attitude.]

You think I'd stay if I wasn't interested?

[The Wrecker kneels down, holding out a hand for a shake.]

Welcome to the Wreckers....uh...got a name?

[He's sure it's been said before, but who remembers names with all the concussions you get.]

[Well hey there big hand, don't mind if Wrex grabs it.]

Wrex. Nice team name.

[And Wheeljack's face splits into a smile.]

You and me are gonna get along justttt fine.
