[VIDEO] Welcome Back?

[He's been here before. At least, that is what the Acolyte that greeted his arrival informed him, warning him that some of the "other refugees" might assume some level of familiarity with him. Past friendships forged, previous alliances made, beings encountered...]

[Perceptor remembers none of it.]

[His expression as he regards the Link is calm and inscrutable, though, despite how unsettling it is to find that his memories, if they were even his own memories, are... altered. Or missing. Or incomplete. Something.]

Do I have a laboratory here?

[Why beat around the bush, as Verity would have said. Well, she might have added a few... choice terms, perhaps, but, still. The sentiment remains.]

For a week, yes. Then I decided to attempt to get back manually, so to speak, even if it would take longer than I'd have liked... and required more resources than I actually had. Liege found me however.

[Jetfire tilts his helm thoughtfully at that.]

Perhaps, though I would hazard to say that as long as we'd send people through alone, the reality itself would want to establish the proper space-time relationship between the individual and their universe.

Of course, it might not be that easy.

I doubt there's a need to be that pessimistic. [He's smiling slightly though, because it could well be.] As long as we have enough data and a solid theory, it might not necessarily be complicated, even if time-space is... finicky.

And if nothing else, I'm sure we can get the Firstforged who has some affinity with time-space to assist with suggestions or advice, if nothing else.

Considering there's only seven out of thirteen even wanting to deal with us directly, I doubt all, or any of them, would want us here, especially if we don't want to.

Since, no matter what, we can do more damage by staying but deciding to work against them than them letting us leave if we can and want to. I'm quite sure intentionally or unintentionally wandering into the Badlands isn't the only way to align yourself with the force aimed against us.

[Anyone who got really pissed and didn't just want to leave did, obviously, have some leverage in making a big, damaging splash in the Haven or anywhere else on Cybertron, after all.]

Well, if that was the issue, they would probably simply kill us, not let us become agents of their enemy.

[So dry.]

Well, from the individuals that have wandered into the nearest extension of the main area of the Badlands and have returned, loss of reason, control of your frame or body and possibly hallucinations could be inferred. All who return either don't remember or do not wish to speak of their stay...

Anyone without a Glyph is drawn to the Badlands, after or before attacking anything with a Glyph. Sentient beings who come through the Lambda without a Glyph suffers slow descent into madness and a desire to harm or destroy anything close-by.

[Jetfire shrugs slightly, frowning as he thinks back the unpleasant business of the Glyphless.]
