It probably would br far more comfortable than my chair.

[The therapist's smile grows a bit and he squeezes Dead End's shoulder as a soft, adoring sort of look flickers through his optics.]

[Just incase giant bugs attack again. Or really any other creatures that would maul the therapist. If Rung was in his room then chances were he might be able to help if anything went wrong... Provided he didn't get mauled causing Rung to come after him again.]

I can, uh. Fix the lighting, and you can decorate it how you want. If you want. Make you feel more at home when you're there...

[Because he did feel safe around Dead End. And this was he could make sure the other was gettin enough energy to survive as well.]

I don't mind. Not like I've done much with the place, aside from making things darker.

A bit more light might be needed but, I've never been much for decorating myself so it really doesn't bother me.

[He just likes the idea of sharing a room with someone; not being alone so much anymore.]

Alright, just a light change then. And you can use the berth whenever you want.

[And he can hide his substitute power core until he's ready to mention it.]

It's... It's nothing really. I enjoy spending time with you, and getting you out of that chair at night has to be a good thing.

[Right? He attempts a smile.]

[Rung can't help but chuckle a bit.]

I suppose I do need to give up on trying to defend that chair and saying it's comfortable.

And..I enjoy spending time with you too.

If it's anything like the other chairs in your office then a berth is probably a bit more comfortable. Roomier too.

[He leans his head down against Rung's.]

I'm glad to hear that... I know I don't really act like it, but I am happy.

[Being with Rung, having someone be there and actually care. Not so much about life in general. But happy with Rung was something at least.]

..I'm glad. Because you being happy is important to me.

[And he means that, Dead End. There's a gentle smile to accompany the statement and he lifts a hand to touch the other's cheek a bit.]

[He carefully wraps his arms around the other, engine giving a happy - yet quiet - rumble.]

Rung. I hate to ruin the moment, but... How long do you think this will last?

[His own engine responds in kind, revving softly in response to Dead End--the therapist quite content to just stay there with the other but--

..I don't know. But I'm willing to stay as long as you'll have me.

Couldn't think of a reason to not want you around.

[Which is to say, he probably could - for Rung's safety - but he hardly would want to. He wants to keep the therapist for as long as his luck will let him.]

Just... Everyone's been disappearing.

[It's been eating at Rung a bit. He's worried about why there's been so many disappearances and he just..he wants answers. But he really doesn't know if the Firstforged have any.]

But..like I told you before, we can't live by the what ifs. We have to just take it all as it comes and..I want to be with you through it all if I can.

I'm not sure my luck is that good, Rung. Having you around is probably pushing it already...

[His grip tightens and his engine gives a little purr.]

Wouldn't have any friends left without you... So. Thank you... I'm not ready to loose you.

[The therapist smiles warmly, caressing his companion's cheek.]

You're welcome, Dead End.

[He leans forward to press a kiss to the therapist's forehead.]

You're the fragging best.

[His engine revs softly--happily--at the kiss, optics flickering into a soft, loving look.]

You're too kind.

[He revs his own engine in response, running his fingers against the back of Rung's neck.]

You're the kind one.

[Congrats, Dead End. You've got a therapist practically melting in your grip now.]

You are much more kind than you realize.
