Okay.

This is easy enough.

I know some of you have been waiting for the Law Committee to become official, right?

Well now it is.

[He holds up a datapad with the current Law Committee Roster listed on it.]

I spent the past few weeks- [Trying to forget about being changed into a Sparkeater] -tracking everyone down and drafting this. Since we're supposed to be a de-facto political organization, this announcement is public so that anyone can make themselves heard if there are any issues.

[He used to work for Senator Shockwave--it sounds close enough to what politicians do.]

This, uh, is the last time I'm going to do this, since from now on I'm in charge of zoning. Speaking of which--who was it that wanted roads built again?

Is that a thing?

Anyway.

Look this over, and speak up if I made any huge mistakes.

((OOC note: If you are on the Law Committee, feel free to assume that Skids has contacted you and gotten your opinion on what branch of the Committee you want to be on~ If you aren't on the Law Committee and want to be, give a poke here too!))

If I find someone I think will fit, I might just do that.

[... Well Slag.]

I can understand why people would want Tarn out of the committee and can even agree with it in some respects. The question is, should it be a vote within the committee itself, or a public vote.

Oh trust me, people will know.

[Of course she is. Blackarachnia doesn't slack off when it comes to the important things. Especially when it might be something that might reflect back on her abilities.]

I was afraid you would say that. But, it makes sense. As long as we can get people to vote honestly and you know, not get threatened to change their vote.

[Just.. someone scrap her now. This is going to be a headache and she knows it.]

Anything else I should know about before I start arranging this little vote?

... How about we just call a committee meeting and decide how many people should be in the groups. Like, a member limit or something. That way we can keep them from getting too large and out of control.

[Yeah, leave it to the secretary spider to start arranging things.]

...If human children are anything like the ape-children they're descended from, I can understand why.

So Tarn, Miko and Kay need to be discussed and voted on. Then maybe age limits need to be discussed as well.

Uh huh. And what about the Overseer position? How do you want to handle that?

[personal profile] treacherous_widow 2013-05-22 11:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Huh. I'll have to think on that.

[Since her idea is very Predacon and involves fighting for dominance.]

Private to you, doll face

Blackarachnia, as a fellow member of this organisation, I hope you'll speak with me before making any hasty decisions. Consider it a professional courtesy given how it directly relates to this new-found career of mine.
treacherous_widow: (So talk)

[Private]

[personal profile] treacherous_widow 2013-04-20 10:03 pm (UTC)(link)
It relates to both of our new-found careers. If bots and organics are asking to vote on a particular issue, it's my job to organize and enforce it.

It's also my job to communications between groups and apparently there's some concern. So as imposing as you are, I need to look into this.
songofmypeople: mine (Default)

the best I could do :\ How's this?

[personal profile] songofmypeople 2013-04-22 02:41 am (UTC)(link)
You misunderstand me; that wasn't a threat. However I can see you aren't open to further discourse. This is a disappointment, Blackarachnia, but I suppose I really shouldn't be surprised.

One last question: if I were to ask for a vote on any subject I find discomfiting, you'll carry it out?
treacherous_widow: (Default)

<3 Works~.

[personal profile] treacherous_widow 2013-04-22 02:50 am (UTC)(link)
[Was she really that tense? The she-spider sighs a bit and forces herself to relax.]

Yeah, I know it wasn't a threat. I'm sorry Tarn, but, it was brought up to me, so I'm trying to do what my job calls for.

If it makes you feel better, whatever the issue with you is, it's not the only one needing a vote.

[Pause, she frowns a little. Thinking on his question.]

Well, yeah. If its an issue that looks like a potential problem that needs to be sorted out.

[Are you serious? He's just going to look at you for minute.]

I'm sure the Autobot majority will be impressed with this clear demonstration of thinking for yourself. You'll make them a lovely puppet yet, my dear.
treacherous_widow: (What did you just say)

[personal profile] treacherous_widow 2013-04-22 03:26 am (UTC)(link)
[...Oh yeah. She's a little offended by that and it shows.]

I am no ones puppet and I am sure as hell not aligning myself with the Autobots. My programing is completely Predacon and I'm just trying to stay neutral.

If you have an issue that needs a vote, I'll be on top of that as well.

I can see politics aren't a strong suite for you. Look around and try applying that Predacon mind of yours before doing someone else's bidding without asking question the next time.

This conversation is over.
