[Rewind was able to deal with a lot of things lately. Snuff films? Whatever. A new Cybertron? Okay. No Chromedome for awhile? That's fine. PROWL? Slightly less happy but still doing okay. But no. It's Rung's death that is the kicker. And the worst part of it is, Rewind had it ingrained into his database. It didn't make it any easier to accept sometimes.

He was a tough little bot, though, who had seen his fair share of events. Experienced a few as well. So he's not going to outwardly show it. But he'll be huddled up in his room, in the dark, flickering with his camera, and using the wall as a projection screen.

Everything was Rung from their time on the Lost Light.

That's how Rung is. He's everyone's friend. A good listener. Even better therapist.

I never really visited him as a patient. But I've recorded his history. I've got a lot of memories of him, even if they're not MINE.

I record history as it happens and keep it safe.

Everything I'm present for. Or not. I can download stuff if it's been recorded. And keep track of it. I have a whole database in my head.

Does that mean you can store memories...? Even of other robots?

Pretty much. Although it's hard to find actual memories I wasn't there for. It has to be in some kind of downloadable file. Like a computer chip.

Oh, it's no big deal. Don't think you have to owe me.

To be honest, it'd help me figure out what you are. If you have an A.I. chip, you're not one of us, are you? That's enough for me. Unless you have access to everything about this place.
