... Perhaps this is a bit hasty in coming, but I've lost contact with Grimlock.

[And the last time this happened, he apparently ran into Shockwave, so, the scientist is understandably concerned.]

I rather doubt he's gotten himself into danger or anything of the sort, however, I would be grateful to hear anything, should someone happen to sight him. He's difficult to miss, really.

If there's nothing to be done to stop it, then, yes. It would be of great benefit. Nothing "crude" about it. Cynical, perhaps. But not crude.

Ah... [Looking Perceptor over a bit more closely for a moment, Elita shakes her helm.] No. Not yours, I think. The one who's here. He's very... pointy. One of the two Shockwaves here shares his universe, I belive.

In that case, I can only believe Grimlock met the Shockwave in our universe, rather than any of these currently present.

Regardless, I can't imagine something like "universal differences" would keep Grimlock from seeking vengeance or some nonsense like that. Hence my concern.

... Yes, that does sound like something Grimlock - and especially this one, would do.

[Elita straightens up a little, her expression turning slightly grim.]

I'll check to see if either of the Shockwave's have... had a run-in with him. And then...

[She hesitates, optics dimming a little before the glow returns to normal.]

Then I suppose it's time to start checking towards the closest bit of Badlands and further away, towards the larger one.

[He looks down for a second, calling up a screen to obscure the look on his face.]

If you have better luck with them than I do, I would be impressed.

... Yes. I had considered that possibility.

[And there goes the lock as Elita grins a little and the back-mounted panels flick.]

Well, I hadn't planned on necessarily approaching them face to face and ask if they'd seen him. I find observation in person makes for more ease of information gotten than asking someone who might not want to give the answer.

[Then she frowns and looks away.]

Hopefully... that won't be necessary, but. Well.

But, yes, I would advise continued caution. There's little need to be reckless until we know for certain whether or not Shockwave is actually involved.

And part of me, rather foolishly, hopes he is not.

I am confident in my ability to remain unseen, especially with my camoflage, since this is what I do, but the concern's appreciated.

[It does, however, make her all the more set on actually doing it.]

Despite the alternatives, I don't think there's anything odd in not wishing someone to be under the scrutiny of an amoral scientist.

As for my camoflage, well... [And then she slowly just fades out of view for a few moments before becoming visible again.] Alloys in my armour can render me virtually invisible against any surface.

The same goes for the Arcee that's present here, and she doesn't even share my colour, but I assume that might be the possibility elsewhere.

Though why sharing colour with someone would make people mistake me for said person I just can't figure out, especially if we don't look alike.

Indeed. In connection with that... I believe I know which temple one of the Shockwaves belong, which would be Megatronus, but the other... I will have to go looking.

To my knowledge, the Acree of my original Cybertron does share a paint scheme similar to yours, yes. However, the differences in frame type set you apart rather drastically. Perhaps some foolishly pay attention to color first, and structure second.

[And from his tone, it's obvious what Perceptor thinks of that mindset.]

I have no idea. But it stands to reason if one is in one temple... wouldn't logically the other be located there as well?

I'm starting to become inclined to that conclusion as well.

[The tone is both amusing and... somewhat gratifying.]

Perhaps, but from the Shockwave I know of, and the one that seems to be from yours, and comparing with the mech that would most suit with Megatronus Prime... perhaps the Shockwave there is the outlier?

[Since, ahem, cool scientists isn't something Megatronus Prime really seem to collect.]
