If anyone figures out what in the pit a black outline means, I want to know.

[She glances towards it once more before straightening up and frowning.]

Alright, listen up. I'm only going to make this announcement once more and anyone that doesn't vote can go frag themselves. If you want a say in whether Tarn or children stay on the committee, now's the time to speak up. Otherwise, don't come venting to me you didn't get a chance to have your say.

[Lady, morbid is normal for her. What she can't understand is why someone's one solid color like that.]

Because that was the colour I came online with, even if it's might be a bit... crude, considering what energon is for us.

[Elita can't quite keep the faint amusement out of her voice.]

Why is anyone of us the colours we are? [A shrug.] If you have a theory, I'd be interested to hear it.

My colors go with my beast mode. So, I'm guessing our alt modes have something to do with our colors. So, what is yours?

So you had other colours before your beast mode? Mine have always been this, no matter what altmode I've had. It was a speedboat prior to my arrival here and right now it's a single-wheel gyroscopic hover racer.

[There's no particular colours tied to either of them.]

[She shrugs a little. Well, there was a theory that went out the window.]

You were a protoform that recently, or you've just not changed at all since you got your first altmode?

Why does it matter. I like being who I am and there is nothing that's going to change that.

[Not as old as some of the bots around here.]

Curious question, is all. I know some who prefer not to change from their first altmode, or who finds one that they like so much they don't want to change... But it's not that usual, and often it rather means someone's young.

[Elita shrugs easily, nothing more than that behind it.]

My beast-mode is part of who I am. So if that makes me young to you, then whatever.

We were all inexperienced once, but even if you're not, I was just curious. Like I said, I do know some prefer to keep their first altmode and doesn't want to change or upgrade at all, it just doesn't happen often.

[A bit impractical, perhaps, but a choice one could make.]

I never said I wouldn't upgrade.

[She smirks a little. Even though she loves her beast mode, she's not above enhancing herself for a better edge over the competition.]

I might have one or two things in mind. I just haven't perfected the blueprints yet.

Good luck. I know it can be difficult to find what you want sometimes. Since I wanted to keep the configuration I had as a boat, I had to get some help.

[She flicks her back-mounted panels in demonstration.]

[She glances at the back-mounted panels as they flicker. Her own spider legs twitch a bit. Yeah, she's not giving those us. They're too useful.]

Hopefully what I have in mind won't change my configuration too much.

It can be somewhat annoying when you want to keep something that comes up as part of a particular altmode configuration and is practical and of use for you on your own... but then you want to keep it beyond that altmode. I hope you'll figure it out.
