[Rung had just been working on cleaning up his office and getting things back in order when he'd accidentally created something. A ball of light to be exact.

He'd been having trouble seeing and then suddenly there was light and the little ball that was no bigger than his fist was floating around his head. The therapist had thought that maybe he'd finally snapped or something but he came to realize pretty quickly that the thing was, in fact real.

And under his command.]

Could anyone possible explain to me why I can suddenly make light..balls?

[As he asks it, there's one hovering around his hand as Rung peers at it, cupping it in his palm slightly even as it just kind of floats there.]

What does it do?

Ah--it...lights up? And floats. That's all I've seen at least.

[Rung turns his hand over and the little orb floats up some then rests on the back of his hand.]

I think it's a thing with folks that have Primus's Glyph. T'my knowledge it's normal.

They do. Only other one I know is Solus though, and that's because I'm aligned t'her.

[Rung casts the orb a wary look before it melts away as he rolls the orb over his hand a bit again.]

I suppose so.

Fairly certain. I don't know where else it would have come from and it doesn't seem to go too far away from me.

T'be fair, it doesn't exactly come up often in casual conversation. And the FirstForged don't seem to mention it unless asked directly.

Yeah, it was just recently too. I was cleaning out the chicken house and kind of wishing I had a light- and then there it was!

[He holds his hand out, coaxing a small ball of light of his own to hover over his palm.]

I thought maybe it was a new magic but I've never learned any spells like that.

I see. It may be something worth questioning others about, just to see the range of abilities that have been bestowed.
