[So he'd made it. He'd made it, he was alive, and he was still here. He could see the distant temples from the mountain he stood on, some ancient and run-down building in ruins behind him. Despite the dilapidation, there is a very new 'STARSCREAM FOR OVERSEER' poster tacked onto the wall within his view...the perfect place for a high-flying, far-ranging jet to test out non-permanent adhesives without anyone noticing.]

So.

[He begins by reaching out, aiming, and completely blasting the wall and accompanying poster.]

Is there anyone who actually intends to vote for Starscream?

... Wow, that's an old look... [Then Skwyarp trails off, frowning. Something's off here, from what he can remember of way back then---

Oh. Too few cannons. And the treads are in the wrong place.]

Uh. Well, still Megatron I s'pose.

[Which more or less would mean the same thing.]

And right now, he's kinda the best on offer.

[Skywarp grimaces a little though; Starscream's ambition is just so fragging annoying.]

Close enough for the both of us, I'd wager. If you still enjoy amusement at someone else's expense, then I still enjoy pulling the limbs off of my enemies.

Oh, sure. [His grin widens and then he shrugs.]

Dunno if anyone else's actually decided, but I wouldn't be surpised if the Prime offers... And I ain't got a clue, but I guess y'gotta get involved with the Law Committe.

[He drawls the last, and then gives Megatron a once over thorugh the feed.]

That sounds positively bureaucratic.

[And thus likely unfair and corrupt. Given Starscreams involvement? That was likely.]

The other Megatron is on the way. It's an opportunity I couldn't easily pass up.

[His alternate did have such interesting weapons systems.]

Any idea what gives this committee power?

[Giving a shrug at the news that he wouldn't have to move, Skywarp landed on a suitable spot on the outside of Megatronus' temple and then rubbed the back of his helm.]

Uhh, well... [Why are you asking him??] Think there was something 'bout at least one participant from every temple or whatever? Volunteer an' get in, though there's been some complaints I think.

[He hasn't paid that much attention to it.]

So then...is there anything to stop us Decepticons from forming our own committee of sorts?

Probably. [A snort and a shrug.] But no one's demanded Starscream be kicked out yet. They were complainin' 'bout the guy with the 'Con mask for a face.

[That? That's Skywarp rather fearlessly expressing his very much non-impressed impression and scorn. Especially since Tarn isn't right there. Fear of god only works on Skywarp when he's right there (so to speak).]

I do hear he's got something of a reputation...but so does Starscream. Is everything so backward here?

Guess 'cause between the two of 'em, only one of them's actually been apparently involved in crap here.

And I dunno, guess people get more upset over terrible, wanton torture as a reputation than... Starscream's. He does know when to play nice. Sometimes.

[Skywarp sneers and shrugs. Starscream's not completely dumb, unless he's off on a rant, and, of course, no one here except he and that overgrown jet actually knows this Starscream's reputation.]

And the other intends to run for office. I can see no end to the entertainment value.

[Truly, it would be an exciting year.]

I actually rather like Starscream. And Tarn, in his own way. I find there's something important to learn, from both...

But I won't bore you with the details. Instead, I'll ask you something more immediately relevant.

Where are my options for recharging?

[He refuses to go to Megatronus's.]

[Yes, please don't bore him with the details, because the ambitions involved just annoy and confuse him, though Skywarp had been doing a reasonable job of looking alert enough to what Megatron was saying.]

Suppose so. [Skywarp shrugs, not really caring for anything that might be there to "learn" about, then frowns thoughtfully, rubbing the side of his helm.]

Uh, well... temple of whoever's glyph y'got, then I think the bar or whatever has a room or two? Not just for the squishies around here. [Organics on Cybertron. Eww.] Uh... only other thing, I suppose, would be to check if the building 'round here could work.

[A shrug. Not something he'd been doing, beyond noting each of the quadrants seemed to have buildings - usually but not always - close to the temples that nonetheless weren't made in the same style.]

Megatronus' temple, mostly. [Another shrug, because really, he doesn't exactly care - he hasn't been told to do anything yet, after all!] High up enough I can just toss myself out an' fly immediately.

'S not as if it matters for the distance, everything's spread out 'round here, so if I'm gonna warp, it takes several jumps anyway.

[It is, really. For as much as people say that Skywarp didn't get the brains of the trio...he did have a knack for staying alive.]

And how have you found Megatronus, as a host?

[And really, staying alive was what you needed to do; thinking could be left to other people.]

Ain't even seen him, really, though that strange-lookin' Shockwave apparently tests anyone with his glyph for combat ability.

[He's frowning as he says it, shrugging. It hadn't been anything special, really. Similar to the earlier gladiator battle... Plus he got to use his warping.]
