[When the video comes on, Fracas is shifting on his feet, only pausing to rub the back of his neck and let out a reedy laugh. He coughs when he finally gets control of himself, then claps his hands together and mutters to himself before speaking up.]

S-so, uhm. I... I guess everyone's noticed the new Starscream. Well, he's the Starscream from my world. More the point, I.

I need help.

He can't know there's a Vehicon here. That I'm here. I will end up dead again and I-I don't... I don't want to die again. There. There has to be some way to keep me completely off his radar, right?

... ^Right?!

[Fracas's voice cracks for a moment without him even realizing it.]

S-something. Anything. I just. I can't. I r-really can't.

Please?

[He could not possibly look any more desperate and pathetic, even if he had a lip wibble.]

You realize he. He's slightly better equipped than centipedes right? And that I was kind of... screaming the whole time?

Screamin' yes, but you didn't back down to that centipede. Somethin' that was big enough ta eat you. You fought against it, and you won. You took it down with no help at all.

Starscream ain't no different. All he is is a bad tempered, scrawny, and weak whimp. He knows yer afraid of him, and he uses that to his advantage ta get ya to do stuff. He's a bully who's only strong when he's got somebody ta back him up.

Get over that fear, and ya got more power against him than you realize.

Well it was trying to eat me anyway... I panicked.

[He quiets, taking the time to think about what Bulkhead had to say. It's difficult for him to see Starscream like that. As anything but what he'd always been, dangerous and terrible and way too sadistic for a mere Vehicon to stand against. Even if he's not the same as he was back then.]

I don't... he's always been more powerful than me. Than the rest of us. We aren't. We can't all beat him down like you did.

[Fracas knows a few things too.]

You don't have to be as big, strong, or even powerful as me. Or him. You just need to find the fighting style that works for you. Get better at it, train in it.

Gave this same advice ta another bot after he got his aft handed to him in a fight. He was hard ta stop after that, he could even stand toe ta toe with me.

I aint sayin' you'll be able ta go out and beat the scrap out of him today, or even tomorrow. But ya already got a good start, and you'll only get better.

Wasn't the first time I took him down in battle.

I've been trying. Shockwave, he... he's been training me, or I would have been centipede food.

[He's a Vehicon, and they are horrible gossips. It didn't take long for them to put two and two together and get the word around.]

Well, that's. The most recent time I've heard it. Everyone was talking about it before the ship went nuts.

He's doin' a good job with ya then. But experience in actual fights helps too. There's a huge difference between trainin' and actually fightin'.

Is. Wheeljack. [Don't kill him Jackie.] He was the smallest of the Wreckers, he was one of the smallest in the gladiatorial arena. But he's never let size intimidate him. Even bots and cons that were much bigger and stronger than him.

[Okay, what the frag do you say to that?]

... Really? I. I never knew that. [Considering how intimidated Fracas had been by Wheeljack... and the fact that he's warmed up to him here...] That means a lot.

S-sorry. We just talk a lot. Things can get boring for those of us that stay on the ship, so... there's a lot of gossip. Like. All the time.

Yeah, I'm sure somethin' will pop up. Been too quiet here other than everybody bein' turned inta something they're not.

It's a big ship; we end up pretty scattered, doing a lot of tedious work. But you obviously never got down to the crew quarters, the other Vehicons can get pretty loud when they're off-duty.

Tell me about it. The centipedes were good fer me, though. Finally gettin' back inta fighting after bein' down for so long. [Didn't hurt that he kind of got a boyfriend out of it either.]

Hey, at the time I was just trying to get off the thing. [Not like he could just ask for directions.] Did come close to gettin' caught by yer fellow vehicons a couple times, and almost once by Megatron, though.

Down? From what? [He hasn't heard much from back home, all told.]

I don't blame you. And you got really lucky; you'd be... kind of conspicuous on the ship. All things considered. At least Soundwave didn't notice you on tapes until later. Usually nothing escapes his sight.

...bad exposure ta Tox-en and some Insecticon gettin' off a lucky shot to the back.

Heh, yeah, I figured. The only one that saw me was Starscream, and he wasn't helpful at all. [He even ~~kind of~~ asked nicely.]

Geeze. That's... wow. Well I hope someone kicked that scrap-sucker's aft. He deserves it.

Starscream's never really helpful, that's kind of the problem. But at least you managed to get off the ship. [Eventually. After ruining the engine.]

[If he had eyebrows, one would be raised at that.]

Don't like them either, huh? I was....in stasis when it happened, but I've been told he was killed.

Yeah, eventually. [Sorry about that, but he couldn't find another way, okay?]

I really don't. Even if you weren't my friend... they're hideous. At least that one's gone.

That's good. Though you, uh. [Fracas laughs a little.] If you and the other Autobots keep getting onto the ship, maybe you should just ask for a key.

[It sort of felt like there were Autobots or their humans on the ship every other week or so.]

Yeah, woulda disposed of the Tox-en tons easier if they weren't chasin' me all over the place.

[That gets a chuckle out of him.]

Maybe we should. We visit often enough.

That's... kind of what they do. They're loud and annoying.

No offense but, it's a little too surprising. Most of the time. And I don't know that you're supposed to surprise yourself by suddenly showing up there, too.

Well, I nearly took down four of them, so that's three less of them....four even if I didn't take out the fourth.

[Not that that would make much of a dent, but it was something.]

Next time I'll be sure to call ahead. And yeah, it's not nice ta wake up miles in the sky, on the con's warship. Still kinda amazed I wasn't caught when ya got the Energon from the mine.

Well that's four less of them and I can't complain about that.

[Anyone killing some of them is good enough for Fracas.]

I'd appreciate it. I can at least try to tidy up the engine room first. As for them not catching you... they uh... might not have wanted to.

[He was unconscious, seemed like they'd want an Autobot that's easy to catch.

Well yeah, but... there's a lot of paperwork involved. Boring, awful paperwork. And then the boss wants to talk to you about it. No one likes to talk to the boss.

[Bulkhead was easy to catch sure, but that didn't actually make it a desirable outcome for Vehicons.]

Heh. They were probably miners so I can't blame them. When the officers notice them it's almost always bad news.
