[When the video comes on, Fracas is shifting on his feet, only pausing to rub the back of his neck and let out a reedy laugh. He coughs when he finally gets control of himself, then claps his hands together and mutters to himself before speaking up.]

S-so, uhm. I... I guess everyone's noticed the new Starscream. Well, he's the Starscream from my world. More the point, I.

I need help.

He can't know there's a Vehicon here. That I'm here. I will end up dead again and I-I don't... I don't want to die again. There. There has to be some way to keep me completely off his radar, right?

... ^Right?!

[Fracas's voice cracks for a moment without him even realizing it.]

S-something. Anything. I just. I can't. I r-really can't.

Please?

[He could not possibly look any more desperate and pathetic, even if he had a lip wibble.]

Knock Out, I'm... kind of obvious. If he figures out a Vehicon is here he's going to come looking. [He ticks his claws together nervously as he thinks about it.] But. But he might not realize if...
Sir. Would. Would you still be interested in repainting me? And. Maybe another change or two?

Lucky. Since then the jets had been repainted silver. I could out-grade you and repaint you but I don't know how far I can alter you appearance to make sure he doesn't notice.

Besides, I'm pretty sure that what will give you away is your attitude towards him and not just your looks. [Knock out's 100% sure that you are going to act terrified in his presence and call him sir. He also understands why.]

That said, come to my clinic, now. The new one. Is not open for everyone, but you can have access.

There's a change I can make without any help, at least. [After all, how likely is Starscream to know that Vehicons have their own faces?]

I-I know. But it might buy me time to... to stop being like this, at least. I have to try, what other choice do I have? [He needs time to think, because he can't just hide for the rest of existence. Or resign himself to being a put-upon drone. Not anymore. Shockwave has, at least, been trying to break him of the constant politeness and 'sir's.]

Let's see, you weren't scared until Starscream showed up. It seems to me that Starscream is the problem, not you. The logical conclusion would be to get rid of the problem rather than change your whole life.

[Knock Out liked to be called sir, at least someone showed him respect. But he's not goign to go against anything a Shockckwave decided to do.]

I'll go get the supplies. [You will have the privilege to be the first patient of their clinic Fracas.]

It's the first thing I could think of. Shockwave's said I should for a while now anyway. [There's no time like the present, right?]

... if you're suggesting I beat Starscream up I'll have to check if. If you're crazy or not. No offense or anything. I doubt I could take him on even on my best day and his worst.

[Well, he'll probably still call Knock Out that. If only because he likes him.]

That's a uh. Pretty strange way to look at the logic of a situation. Considering I barely made it against that centipede the last time... [Even if he's gotten better since then. And had one of his blasters changed out for that gear shredder.]

I'll comm Thundercracker, he can probably help with that. And I-I do. Something maybe blue-green or... Kind of teal if you have it?

Breakdown looked intimidating no matter what. He was much bigger than you too. [Boy, don't Knock Out miss him sometimes.]

Special, not strange. I have a special way of thinking. And I never said you had to get rid of the problem yourself, just that if the problem disappeared somehow, all would be solved more easily. [Knock Out needs to work more on building weapons so he can upgrade others if needed.]

Thundercracker is not bad to talk with. I don't have it but I can make it mixing two different colors.

Yeah, Breakdown was... pretty intimidating. But nice, I heard. [He never actually got to meet Breakdown personally, but he heard about the way the mech treated other Vehicons.]

yes, I am aware. [Knock Out was guilty of that. He didn't hurt Vehicons like Starscream but he knows he wasn't always nice to them either.]

I find that hard to believe. Thudnercracker is a decepticon, is he not? [Why would any of them each other without a good reason? Knock Out looks surprised but he shrugs it off quickly.]

If you are going to be a flier you need longer range weapon, less heavy but still effective. What sort of missiles you like? Or nulls rays are more of your taste? [Guess who makes weapons in his spare time?]

Thundercracker is a Decepticon, but so am I. The badge doesn't mean we have to plot against each other or stab people in the back... [He shrugs a little again.]

[Fracas pauses for a moment, tilting his head slightly.] You just like putting new weapons on me don't you?

Well, what do null rays do exactly? And is... is there any chance I could get a sword or something? Even if I'll be able to fight at longer range I need to be able to handle close range too.

[KnocK Out gives Fracas a ~~totally fake~~ innocent face. He likes putting weapons ion everyone, pal.] Fracas, your suggestion hurt me. I'm merely trying to give you a hand. And perhaps a rocket launcher.

With a null ray you can fire blasts that stop any electrical device with one shot. That white Starscream has one, I offered it to the one in our world once but he refused.

[Wait, what?]

A sword. I guess I could find you a blade large enough. I don't have any swords at the moment, find the material and I will forge one. Those aren't my specialty, though.

You realize I'm not exactly... heavily armored... enough to justify a rocket launcher. [Maybe if he wanted to launch himself thirty feet back when he fired. Which doesn't seem very good to him.]

Yeah, doesn't seem like ours' style, really. Something that won't. Directly kill or maim someone. How does it work on organics? Those... things from the Badlands aren't always just machines. [He's concerned with those almost as much as Starscream.]

[Fracas dips his head a little.]

Well. Just thinking, you know. A-and I might. Be getting sword training which would be easier with one of those. I'll see what I can find. I know you prefer things that... explode more.

No no! It's uhm. There's this bot named Wing, he... he offered to teach me. Melee combat, since I'm not very good with that. [And swords seemed like the easiest way. Phrasing it this way keeps him from bringing up Wheeljack at all, too. Win-win.]

Spoilsport logic. [Maybe he could be if he tried really hard. A small one.]

[Knock Out smiles, perhaps he will be able to convince Fracas to change his mind in the future. He can wait.]

I know that one. He got a really nice finish and some questionable extra nice attitude. [Which Knock Out finds odd but oddly refreshing.] You are going to end cutting off your own arm by accident. The whole... being treated like drones and useless a-and being underclass cannon fodder thing. [Fracas isn't entirely sure why Knock Out would ask... and he's not entirely comfortable admitting that, but. He did ask.] Oooh. Wait, would that have anything to do with the one time he told one of the ground bridge techs that nothing happened?

AH, that. I wonder how's that he can really understand, by the looks of it he was upper class too. [Fliers.] If it's any consolation to you, higher officers dont' have it all that much better.

[Knock Out wants to know anything that might be useful for him in the future. He's a curious mech too.] It could be. Starscream has a natural talent for getting himself in trouble.

Dunno. But he could at least fake understanding which is... more than I could ask for, really. [He's surprised by all the support, more than anything.] Maybe not, but. They have us to take it out on, when things aren't good for them.

Guess so. None of us ever figured out what actually happened, I don't think. [He shrugs.] Maybe someday, though.

Hm. I see. [Knock Out says nothing for a few, thinking. He's sure that the reason why Wing seems to want everyone to get along is because he hasn't seen the things they did to each other during the war. Knock Out often wonders if the mech was ever in any wars.

He turns to smirk at Fracas, the paint-gun ready.]

Done with the chat stuff, it's time to get you fixed properly. Now lie down and think of your boyfriend while I work.
