[Cliffjumper hasn't even seen any of them, and he's not sure of the vehemence in his own conviction, but it feels right. Beyond, well, the fact that undead abominations that shouldn't be possible had decided to come play.

Whatever, as long as we can get rid of 'em all. [With a grimace and a shrug Cliffjumper makes a few locked pings.]

Hey, Blurr. Still wanna try a gun? [They're doing it either way, you know.]

Both of ya okay, still? [He pauses, frowning a little, briefly hesitating before just shrugging. That worry of being okay was mostly for Ravage since Soundwave had disappeared.]

... Dunno, should we meet up, or somethin'?

Yeah but...[He's about to say that he rarely gets thing for himself but he just shakes his head.] Nevermind. I WILL get ready.

[Getting a good hold of the weapon. Blurr tries to focus and concentrate properly, he takes his time, makes calibrations, tries to ignore the rest of the world...and shots. It takes three shows but he does hit the target this time.]

...ah! Cliff look!

[It does, yeah.]

[Blurr. :| It's okay to get stuff for yourself!]

Heh, knew you could do it. [Grinning, Cliffjumper pats Blurr's shoulder and then steps away from behind him.]

I'm gonna take out my cannon... try a few more shots if you feel like it?

[No is not, he's fine. He has Frank.]

I have a good teacher, clearly. [Nooo don't go too away he's still not sure about this.] Alright. How often this needs to be recharged?

[Well, it's okay to have more than that, you know.]

I didn't do too much, but, uh... thanks. [Huffing a little, Cliffjumper ducks his helm and grins while he looks over the cannon.] And, you've just taken a few shots, clip's good for quite a bit more.

Wouldn't be too useful if ya had to stop after just a handful of shots to recharge in the middle of a battlefield, after all...

[Pausing, Cliffjumper looks up with a thoughtful frown.]

Should try to find another gun, so you can have one.

[You mean like...two turbofoxes? .3.]

You had the guts to give me a loaded weapon and stay around me. [Blurr smiles, purposely making it look like a crazy smile for about 5 seconds. Just friendly teasing.]

That's a very good point. [He was going to fire you a few more times when that made him pause.] One to _{carry with me} all the time, you mean?

[cliffjumper]

[... Maybe.]

Oh, please. [Snorting, Cliffjumper met the brief smile with a dismissive huff,smirking as it went back to normal.] If ya actually got out of hand, I could take you.

'Cause I doubt you'd be able to hit anythin' vital. [Cliffjumper's smirk widened a little before he nodded as he hefted the cannon up against a shoulder, eyeing the targets on the other side of the range.]

Yeah. Even if ya don't prefer it or anythin' a gun can be useful and as long as you train, a passable shot with a gun is better than without a gun if the situation calls for it.

[He needs to find Frank a girlfriend.]

Well maybe I...[OH, low blow]...oi! [Indignant huffs.] Icanstillbeatyouatreacingsohumph!

I will think about it. I don't mind training _{because I know} I need it but actually carry a gun around is very different.

[Don't get too ambitious!]

'Cause you've got that fraggin' speed of yours! [Laughing, Cliffjumper tosses Blurr a smirk and then turns back to facing forward, frowning at his chosen target(s) - he's going to obliterate a few of them with the cannon...]

Sure, but do think 'bout it, okay? I prefer goin' face to face most often, but sometimes...

[Briefly trailing off, Cliffjumper aims, and fires the cannon. The plasma shot thrums from the barrel and hits the target he aimed at... and takes out the targets on each side of the aimed-for target, leaving a smoking crater after the impact explosion.]

Goin' for a distance weapon ain't just necessary, or best, but the only thing ya can do.

Someone sounds jealous. [Except not really and Blurr knows it. Friendly banter is something he enjoys.] I will, I will.

Blurr was silent after the display, clearly impressed. Perhaps one day he's aiming skills will get close to Cliff's. Maybe one day.] For how long you practiced with weapons?

[Perhaps something else? A bit of wax and polish? A lamp?]

Yeah, you just keep thinkin' that. [Cliffjumper huffs exaggeratedly, then grins again, pleased at the obvious destruction he just wrought to the targets. Though aiming with a cannon doesn't take much work, honestly.]

Uh, well... I hadn't touched anythin' ya could consider a projectile weapon before the war, but after it started... [He shrugs, narrowing his optics briefly.] Then I picked 'em up, of course. So... 'round four million years, since I don't think the four million we ere offline in stasis on Earth counts.

[Dry little snort as he looks over his cannon, partly to check it, partly to have something to do.]

[Hm....wax and polish.]

I will~~ [Blurr sounds way too happy at expenses of Cliff. It doesn't last much, he looks at the destroyed targets in wonder.]

You were in stasis on Earth, how come? [Blurr raises his weapon again, trying to aim for the random target some meters away from the last ones.]

[Would be nice, wouldn't it?]

Uh, well... [He puts away the cannon and then pulls out what's a really large sniper rifle - for someone taller, the weapon wouldn't look silly, but with Cliffjumper being short, well.]

My Cybertron ended up rouge ages ago, and we were gonna pass dangerously close to an asteroid field, so Prime collected a crew and we used the Ark to go up and destroy the rocks. Then the fraggin' Decepticreeps attacked, and Prime ended up crashin' us into a nearby planet to stop 'em. Earth.

Knocked us all offline for four million years, give or take.

[Very. Are you offering?]

And during all those millions ears WHAT where the Decepticons doing? [It's kind of a worrisome thought to imagine Megatron does as he please for so much time without someone to stop him. Some more shoots are fired to the targets, Blurr is really trying to get better at it.]

[cliffjumper]

Megatron and some of his elite were the 'Cons who attacked the Ark, so they were outta commission with the rest of us... And the war was kinda stuck on Cybertron durin' that time. At least nothin' drastic until after we woke up again, even for the ones who hadn't crashed.

[Cliffjumper pauses, rifle up and ready, to look at Blurr take shots at the targets and give his friend an encouraging grin and a thumbs up before he turns to his rifle and fires. This one, being a rifle, doesn't obliterate the chosen target and the ground around it... But Cliffjumper does get a bull's eye.]

I guess that was for good. In an odd way. [Blurr is not sure what else to say about that, things were so different in his universe.]

Oh, wow. You are really good at this. [And he feels so inexperienced in comparison. That only makes him want to learn faster and he's firing more shots after a few seconds.] Cliff, wouldn't you happen to have a less heavy weapon?

Yeah, I wouldn't want to know what'd have happened if they hadn't been taken outta commission along with us... [Scowling, Cliffjumper squeezes off another shot which lands just to the side of the first bull's eye shot.]

Thanks. Usin' the slaggin' sniper rifle ain't my favourite thing but I sure as slag wasn't gonna... [He trails off, grumbling a little before he glances up at Blurr.]

For you? Dunno if blasters come in lighter format than that, they're kinda standard.

Bad thins. Decepticons have that really bad 'conquer and murder' habit. [Cliff now you are just showing off.]

youcursesomuch... [Blurr stares back, a disappointed look on his face.] Sadly I'm not standard side. Asking was worth a shot, _{I WILL} get used to this one then.

[He goes back to firing, but only hits the target the 405 of the time.]

You're tellin' me. [And maybe he is. He did get good enough with the sniper rifle he's actually surprised at himself!]

Sometimes ya gotta. [He grins a bit and then frowns thoughtfully.]

Maybe you can ask someone to custom-build a lighter one for ya? Got to be someone 'round here that can do it, but meanwhile, you ain't doin' too bad a job, ya know.

[Cliffjumper waved a hand at Blurr and then the distant targets idly.]

You've just picked up a proper blaster, can't really expect miracles at once, right?

[It's good to show off from time to time too, a pride boost like that one sometimes is needed.]

In my world that wasn't appropriate. [Blurr smiles, remembering.] The Elite Guard members had to be an example of rectitude and good organization. Cursing like a Sontaran soldier was not part of our training routine.

I guess not. I'm usually a fast learner but it's difficult with this. [And god, doesn't that frustrate him.]

[Maybe just a little one isn't bad.]

Ain't got much time for example and organisation the way the war was goin'. But I suppose that makes sense, yeah. 'Sides, I am a soldier, Blurr.

[He shrugs, unconcerned and rather amused at Blurr's last comment.]

Just keep at it, and if it doesn't work out, we can ask someone to make a lighter one for ya.

I'm quite sure the Magnus in your world would disagree with that. You had a Magnus, right? [There is always a Magnus. If not, then Blurr thinks there should always be one in each universe.]...thatlastpartistrue, okay. Touché

Hm...maybe someone could do that for me. [He eyes Cliff and smirks before going back to shoot at things.] Did you glyph change recently, by any chance?

... Magnus? [Looking up, Cliffjumper shrugged, rubbing the back of his helm thoughtfully.] Dunno what he'd care 'bout that, as long as things get done, ya know?

He kept things goin' on Cybertron, and after the war he joined up with Grimlock's crew to hunt Decepticons.

[Cliffjumper frowns at the ground and then shifts his shoulders - he still would've wanted to go with them, even if that would mean Grimlock and his idea of leadership. At least there'd have been Magnus to weigh him up. Then he gave Blurr a little grin.]

And I'd do it myself if I knew how to make weapons, but that ain't really somethin' I'm good at. And my glyph? Not really, 'cept for a black glow.

[He shrugs and takes another shot, right to the side of his previous two in the bull's eye.]

NO? Odd. [Magnuses are often organized, war or not. at least the ones Blurr knows.] I keep forgetting that he's not like the one in my univ...[Blurr misses his last shoot in a spectacularly way, instead hitting a random by accident.]

Grimlock? What, are you serious?

Ah, I understand then. Isn't black Megatronu's color? [He gives Cliff a somewhat worried somewhat suspicious look.]

[cliffjumper]

Yeah, I know. [Cliffjumper gives his own arm with the glyph a narrow stare and huffs. He himself isn't sure what to think about it.]

And what's wrong with Grimlock? I mean, he's a right aft, thinks he's better than everyone and got an ego on par with Sunstreaker and thinks he's better than Prime, but he ain't incapable of leadin'...

[Trailing off, Cliffjumper grimaces.]

He just went kinda off-track the first time it happened.

He's not like the one in my world then. [It's hard for Blurr to imagine Grimlock get along with any autobots after the things he learned about the one from his world.]
