[If any of you have known a child ever in your life, you know what it's like when they get on a caffeine high. Well, imagine that same reaction, but without the caffeine. Nope. Kay's going on full adrenaline/sugar rush without the sugar. The feed opens up to show her climbing all over the nest, pulling the random knicknacks that her crow had picked up for her on it's many junkpile trips. One is a lamp, where she takes an increasingly long time setting it up, pointing it in the direction of her so she can get proper lighting. The rooms aren't exactly very nicely lit. If you get a good look at her, you'll notice the glyph on her arm is now glowing in vibrant hues of magenta and black.]

Okay so is anyone feeling extremely energetic like you could maybe run a mile-long jog and not even break a sweat because that's kind of what it feels like for me right now see I woke up like bouncing up and down and I thought well maybe it's just from all the sugar I've been eating recently since I work at the Pantry sometimes you know? What's a Swiss Roll here or there I mean it's not like they notice or anything--

ANYWAY! Speaking of sugar I thought it would be kind of cool to do some kind of cooking for the FirstForged! I mean have they ever even eaten anything aside from that regular Energon stuff--PROBABLY NOT!

And I think we should give it to Mr. Megatronus so he stops being so grumpy. Like a birthday cake! You know speaking of birthdays it's got to be close to mine or at least past it I mean I've been here a really long time-

I did indeed. [Her hidden grin breaks out as she nods.] Took a while to adjust and change what needed to be; I'm hardly a weapons' engineer, and I wanted it to be safe for use, but it should be so by now.

[Pursing her lips thoughtfully and looking Kay over, and especially given the girl's sudden... boost...]

I just want you to not play around with it outside of me or someone else being able to teach you at first, all right? A weapon is only as good as the wielder's knowledge of it, after all.

[Kay practically explodes in place, bouncing up and down at the confirmation. Elita had made her that weapon...one just for HER. That she could use when things got tough. To protect the ones she cares about... Also, having a weapon to add to her arsenal was pretty cool.]

Ah! Miss Elita, you're the best! Don't you worry, I'm going to become a master with it!

[Let's just assume that means she'll use it under supervision until she's able to handle it on her own.]

I don't doubt it! [And really, she doesn't; for all of Kay's excitement, she trusts Kay will... she's still going to make sure, as much as possible anyway, that Kay does use it under supervision only first.]

A gun might technically be better, but given that you have quite a few people who would help keep you safe, a short-distance weapon for when that fails might be better.

It's perfect.

[Kay, you haven't even seen it yet. But then again, who was she to question a gift? She trusted Elita, and to have a weapon of her very own, not something she found out in the junkyard, or had dropped to her...

But something made just for her. It was special.]

It was no problem. It might not look as nicely as if a proper engineer had made it, but it should be serviceable and efficient enough. [More a question of pieces being carefully welded together that weren't, since it was a downsized weapon.]

Where would you like to meet? Besides gifting it to you, we should see if there needs to be some adjustments regarding the weight distribution, so it fits you as much as possible.

[She had, after all, attempted to make a weapon that would be fitting Kay herself, and not just 'off the rack', so to speak.]

[She giggles along with Elita, though, her face practically beaming.]

As long as it works, I can't complain! How about we meet just outside Mr. Trion's temple? I'd say somewhere else but...you have wheels and I don't.

Works, it certainly does, but there's a difference there to being a fit. And a gift should fit you, no? But that's certainly possible and I don't think we'll need much more just for me to give it to you and have a first check. I'll come over.

[Elita nods with a smile and then leaves to actually go hand off Kay's present to her instead of just talking about it.]
