[Hey guys, sick of this little ankle-biter, yet? Hope not, because he's got a little broadcast for you, and boy is it important, at least to him. The feed clicks on to show him fiddling with his camera, his hands outstretched when he realizes he's on the air.]
So! This glyph of mine got a bit brighter recently. Domey's too. It took a bit of scanning through the Link's archives, but I found out that our alignments to the FirstForged can get stronger and weaker, apparently! Yeah, yeah, I bet you're saying 'old news'.
But wait! Don't hang up just yet, there's a point to this, really.
What if there was a way to...keep records of this? You know, to see how actions influence events, and the consequences from them! How do you do that? Well....
[His camera turns on, and he tilts the Link towards the wall, where an image is projected onto it:]

What'd I tell ya? Good idea, or good idea?
So what do you have to do? Tell me what your glyph looks like. Colours, brightness, anything at all! I can figure it from there.

action;
I... agreed to help him. And he said, in return, I could keep others safer.
... He lied about that part.
action;
Help him do what? And I'm guessing the others here.
action;
Observe. Document. Study...
Yes. Others here.
action;
...Why would he lie?
action;
[Remember his outburst a while back, Rewind? That's what it was about.]
action;
[He leans back, away from the glyph, to look up at him.]
What are you protecting them from? Do you even know what it is?
action;
[And he just stares back down at him, mystified.]
From... disappearing. And other bad things that happen here.
action;
...but what's making them disappear? Shouldn't you figure that out first before you start blaming FirstForged? They gave you these powers to observe, document.
Use those skills they hired you for and find out what's doing this.
Things change here. Pretty fast, too. Rung died, and Magnus is gone. Times change. People come and go.
...[His head tilts down.]
You adapt to that, or you figure out what's behind it. Or you'll rust.
action;
[He just shakes his head, and pulls back from Rewind entirely, flattening against the wall.]
He promised I could change things if I did this. And I can't. I tried to -- with Rung. I'm trying to be an officer, to be part of their team when I don't fit --
[He pauses, cycling air slowly to stop himself from ranting further, burying it all away.]
... If I can barely figure out how to fit on a police force... how can I adapt as you say I need to?
action;
Every shape serves it's purpose. We don't always know how, or why, or when. But every shape.
[He puts a hand to the glyph.]
Every shape serves a purpose. That includes you. And this.
action;
[It always comes back to that, doesn't it? What if he doesn't know his purpose anymore? Does he really have one?]
[He bows his head now.]
You're so sure. You're so sure of everything.
I wish I could have that.
action;
[That's...cryptic.]
I've also been around a long time.
action;
[He's lost the scared pigeon look, though, scooting forward again. He stays curled up, still.]
How long is a long time?
[SO MANY QUESTIONS.]
action;
...
Over six million years. And counting.
action;
[Rewind you underestimate the curiosity in this one.]
[And how goddamn young he is. Look at his face when you say that -- it's like you said you were secretly a tiny human in a robot suit or something.]
That... that's... I didn't know anything could live so long...
[Also you're barely a year old Kagerou.]
action;
[He is underestimating, isn't he...]
I'm not really the oldest, but...I've been around awhile. Enough to remember Cybertron's old calender.
action;
No one ever tells me anything about your world. They just tell me I'm naive, or assume I won't understand. I'd like to know.
[At least then he'd know something about some world.]
There's a lot of you, as old as that?
action;
[Showing is sometimes always better with telling.]
There's some. But not a lot are...like me.
action;
[Why yes, he almost did ask "what are movies".]
You're unique, then?
action;
..
You could say that. But I'll get to that part in a moment. Let me just...
[Give him a second to find a blank spot on the wall.]
action;
[There are literally blank walls everywhere, unless Kay's been hanging things. There's some stuff hanging from the ceiling, in front of the window, but the walls should be clear.]
All right.
action;
There were two different kinds of people back in the day. The regular Cybertronians, like...say...Rung. He can turn into a vehicle. Then there's...well, they called them Disposables. They didn't have a vehicle alt mode. They were mainly used for storage. Immobile objects.
Slaves.
action;
[Up until a point.]
[He bristles a little at the word "disposables". No one had ever really called him that, but... the feeling had always existed, the thought he was like that to the humans. Except... he can't really tell. One word doesn't process all the way through.]
I don't know that word.
"Slaves". What does it mean?
action;
They're...property. People who are owned by other people. No rights, no freedom.
As much of a person as a piece of furniture. In other people's eyes. That's what a slave is. They're mainly used to do tasks for others.
[He tilts his head down slightly, all too familiar.]
action;
But that's not... Aren't all of you alive? How can that happen?
action;
