[What a surprise: Sentinel’s angry. The acolytes are pottering around in the background of the video, having been shouted at and told to frag off. Clearly, any information they had to offer had fallen on, ah, deaf audios.]
Ugh, is there anyone around here who isn’t a useless maintenance drone? These things are swarming all over the place and I haven’t been able to get a straight answer out of any of them!
I’m a Prime; we’re supposed to get better treatment than this!
[He scowls into the camera.]
Anyway, any Autobots in the immediate vicinity report directly to me. I want to know what’s going on and, uh, where I am.
[This is about as polite as you’re going to get from him.]
Re: [video]
It's nice to see a familiar face, though.]
Yeah, looks that way. How much longer have you been here than me?
[Sure does suck not being able to pull rank without being laughed at anymore.]
It is, yes.]
It's been...a whole year and a day. [Blurr could specify the hours and seconds too, but the realization that he's been here that long is enough to make him keep quiet for a few seconds.] I know all it's really shocking at first if you have any question I'll answers them as well as I can.
Poor Sentinel.]
Re: [video]
That long?! Primus, I hadn't even thought about having to stay that long.
So, uh. How's that research into finding a way home going?
[From what Drift told him, he got the impression that getting home was impossible. But hey - no harm in asking, right?]
Yes. Cheetor was here and so were Starscream and Shockwave. They're all gone now but Red alert arrived a few weeks ago.
Not very well. Some are trying to build space bridges or investigating the lambda. I wouldn't go back even if I could, though.
[Sadly, it is. The Lambda keeps messing up the bridges. And nope.]
Re: [video]
Wait. Gone?
Gone where? Back to our universe?
[Trying to ignore his answer that confirms his fears. Sorry Sentinel, you can't be Magnus if you're in the wrong universe!
RIP his hopes and dreams.]
I think so. People come and go here, sometimes they remember us sometimes they don't and most of the time they disappear if they get to the Badlands. It's an area outside the Haven that's affected by Unicrons's influence.
[Did he forgot to mention that the chaos bringer messes with them? Because yes, yes he does. Aren't you happy to be here, sentinel?]
Re: [video]
Unicron? I thought he was just something made up by the religious types to scare the masses?
[NO. NOT HAPPY. WANNA GO HOME ;A;]
[Sadly, he's not making this up.]
Just as the FirstForged but nooooOOOOOOoooo all that is real here. It's kinda hard to deny when you talk to them.
[Sorry pal, it's not allowed U_U.]
Re: [video]
[Yeah. Any plans that had begun to formulate instantly dissipated. Probably wouldn't go anywhere near there now even if it WAS a way home.]
You're in contact with them? Ask them how to get back!
[Did he realise Blurr had probably already tried that in the time he'd been here? Yes. Did he care? No. Ask again, damnit!
As a 'bot who was never pious in the least, that's going to be very hard to get used to. He never had any need for religion and now, finding out it's all real? That's some heavy shit, man.
Awww, someone's crying themselves into recharge tonight!! Or, well. Probably punching a wall or something.]
...[Did you really ask him that? -.-]
We tried. They don't know how to bring us back to our home world and the Lambda's influence is too big. The Lambda's is that time continuum rift in the sky, on top of the junk pile.
[It wasn't all that difficult for Blurr. It's hard to deny their existence when you see them bringing mechs back from the death and that sort of god-like cool things.
Blurr takes pity of Sentinel, he tell the man's having a hard time.]
I can see that you have Vector's glyph, like mine. [Blurr points to his arm. The glyph are not exactly the same (Blurr's bigger, solid gold, with a strong violet outline around it) but the general design is Vector's.]
Do you want me to come to find you and explain things properly?
Re: [video]
I- get it! Stay away from the Badlands or die a nasty, horrible death. Fragging organics ruining everything.
[Are you implying Sentinel is going to be aware of the ramifications of asking something like that? Ha. Hahaahaha.]
A few of the other bots that contacted me had useful information, but... [Head tilt] Why is your glyph different to mine?
That's correct sir.
[
I thought you would like company, but if that's not the case....It looks different because I've been here longer, it changes with time. Sometimes.
Re: [video]
Company? Uh. Ichangedmymindpleasecomeover.
I will get there in 5.37 seconds.- [Awfully specific, isn't he? One of the abilities he got thanks to his glyph was to know exactly this sorts of things.]
Re: [video]
That ... fast?
[Oh, right. Blurr's entire thing is speed.]
Unless you want some more time alone.
Re: [video] GOTTA GO FAST
[He understands enough, but is embarrassed to say he wants the company. Baby.]
[video >action!] THE FASTEST
[As he promised, it doesn't take Blurr to much to get to Sentinel's location. He reduces his speed and comes to a halt in front of the other mech.] Hello! It's good to see you in person, Sentinel.
Re: [video >action!]
Yeah, hey. So, uh. [He gestures around the temple.] I guess this is our lives now?
[He's pretty clearly sad. He really wanted to be Magnus, man! It's gonna take ages to get over that. Not to mention how he can't adapt very well.]
no subject
Yes, that's it. But it's not so bad, honestly. [Blurr puts a hand on his arm, trying to be comforting.] You will get used to it quickly. There's plenty of energon available, the planet is really new and somewhat un-ex-plo-red but it has a lot of potential and there's also some great people here. And a bar, I work there some nights too, to help a it. Most of the time I'm working for the Police Force.
[The hammer might fall from the Lambda's one day, keep your hopes up.]
no subject
A bar? [He's interested. Never really drank much before because of work and drinking alone is pretty shitty. However, there is always a time that comes when a mech needs a stiff drink, and this is that exact time.]
[He shifts his weight on his feet slightly.] I'd ... really like to find something like that to do. Seeing as this Elite Guard status andeverythingI'veeverworkedfor is useless now.
Should probably find a room first though. I'm tired.
[He doesn't want to think about how just a day ago he was in his own universe. For Sentinel, he isn't counting the days since he arrived; he's counting the days since he left.]
no subject
[Blur is here, he doesn't have to drink alone.] There's still a lot of things to do here and people that needs help. You will find something suitable for you, I'm sure noteverythinguseless... ['You will find something'. Blurr, a master at comforting people, ladies and gentleman.]
Let's find you a proper room and then I will show you the bar. There's many rooms available in the higher towers if you want one of those.
no subject
[He tries to shake off the thought of being around organics with no other choice.] That police force sounded interesting ...
Anyway. I want a room fairly isolated; I don't really [What's a nice way to say this...] want to be around too many of the people here. So, the higher towers sound ideal.
HTML is evil
[Blurr knows that Elita disappeared in an organic planet but humans spraying acid? Now that's a new one.] It's a bit like the Elite Guard back home, just not so organized or big BUT WE ARE working on changing that.
[He can't say he's surprised to hear that.] Alright we will find you one. [Blurr pats his back and starts to walk towards one of the stairs, hoping that Sentinel will get it and follow him.] I have to warn you, the higher towers are realllly high.
Re: HTML is evil
[Elite Guard? Antennae perk up.]
I can always help you sort it out! The council always said I was a real 'paper tiger'! Whatever that is.
[He follows quickly, making sure not to fall too far behind. Blurr is his safety blankie.]
Are you implying I'm afraid of heights? Blurr. Seriously.
