[video] Transmitting from the Hub
[Blurr knew that his post is mostly aimed to Cybertronians. However, he hopes the organics will listen to as well. Considering, the last problematic events and the recent anniversary he felt like speaking up.]
Some of us had been here for a whole year. Many things have happened, good and the bad. Some of them really bad. [Blurr huffs, briefly, the shadow of a smile in his lips for a second before it’s gone.]
For all is worth, I plea to those who have trouble forgetting the past to take a moment of their time to remember that no matter what universe you come from, what factions you sympathize with, we all came from the same place and we will be all reunited again in death. Perhaps it’s time to be brothers again here before our time comes.
There was that organic… I learned about him when I was on Earth. He said "A house divided against itself cannot stand".
The last time we lost our freedoms, the last time we lost our home, and it was because we destroyed it ourselves. I’m not asking you all to get along; I only hope that we don't repeat the same mistakes we did in the past.
Thank you for your attention.
[Locked to the Decepticons | Excluding Tarn, Frenzy, bayverse Megatron and IDW Megatron.]
I know that some of you might be nervous after the recent announcements and actions of your leaders. I already talked to some about this but I’d like to extend my offer to all of you.
A mech’s freedom is his own business and it’s the Police Force duty to prevent and redress all possible wrongs. If you are coerced into doing something you don’t agree with or you believe that you might be in danger please let us know.
We will do our best to protect you. You have my word.

Not in the same way you did, no, but I'm not a stranger to War either. I never claimed to understand the level or you pain, just to give this new world a try.
Someone who wronged me were here as well, time ago. Do you think I didn't want vengeance? Do you think I didn't crush him like he did to me?
[He can't say h wasn't expecting this. Blurr nods.]
If necessary, yes.
no subject
I've been trying... but it's starting to look very much the same around here. Especially lately.
[Between his own Megatron and Chromedome it's starting to look exactly the way it has for him since forever. People trying to rein him in to their war effort and someone with sticky cables - or finger needles - looking for a place to jam them in.]
Mm. Then I pray you can. I like you, Blurr... but I don't have much patience for those that would use me instead of ending me. And those sorts of folks would reflect poorly on a great many people here, I think.
no subject
Good things happens too, those just don't get broadcasted all that often.
I'm are that lately things has been even more complicated than usual. Establishing a new system, one as big and complex as this one, with people from so may universes, involves the greatest difficulties. Those problems should motivate us to do the right thing even harder.
I can only promise you that I'll try my best.

[Talking about Longarm, Shockwave in reality, is still a sore subject for Blurr so he locks the post.]
I've been used before too. I didn't realize it in time and it almost cost me my life. I know I can't possibly compare it to you situation but I sort of understand how hard it can be.
And if you don't want to have that date, after all that happened lately, I understand too.
no subject
We ain't exactly rescuing puppies out of rivers around here, though.
It doesn't have to be complicated. It's just being made that way. And 'doing the right thing' is in the eye of the beholder. Both sides in my war thought they were doing the right thing, and look how that turned out.
[locked]
If only it just cost me my life. No. They leave me alive and tamper with my memories instead. Can you imagine that? Someone tweaking things in your processor so you don't know what they did to you?
[Barricade cuts himself off and his plating rattles.]
Only if you don't want to. It isn't your fault. What Chromedome tried to do.
no subject
If only.
Good point. I would argue that doing things that involved murder, braindwashing or torture are not the right ones, though.
[locked]
No I can't possibly imagine that. [He knows it happened to Cliffjumper, though.] But I know it would drive me crazy. And I would be really angry.
[His hands hand clenched into fist almost before he realizes what he's doing. He wants to find out what really happened between Tarn and Chromedome but he knows he has to wait.
Blurr tries to relax and gives Barricade a tired smile.]
I still want it, yes. Very much so.
Only if you don't want to. It isn't your fault. What Chromedome tried to do.
no subject
You might be surprised how often murder can be condoned 'for the common good'. Wouldn't folks here call for Tarn's death, if they could? If they haven't already?
[locked]
So was I. Every time. I'd hoped I wouldn't have to worry about it here, but... I was wrong. Now I gotta assume it's only a matter of time for me.
[But this time he has the forewarning to do something. At least. And he'll be damned if he lets anyone undo it, either.
Barricade relaxes slightly, smiling tiredly himself.]
Then we will.

[locked]
It happened before then? In your universe or in that place you were before arriving here? [He's trying to ask in a polite way, he can tell it's a sore subject.]
I..I'm glad. What about Wednesday? Would that be a good day?
((ooc: idk how part of your early reply got mixed in my comment. DW u drunk? :U))

[locked]
The place I was before. Sacrosanct. No one would have known what was done but Soundwave did a sloppy job blocking things. [And he still doesn't feel like he got his revenge for it, either. That's the part he's most sore about.]
Wednesday sounds good. Where are we meeting? ... Or are you gonna pick me up?
no subject
I admit that some matters were handled in a poorly way. [No point on deny it, it's a core subject for him as well.] I was against Tarn being part of the Law comittee because he's a threat and I was frustrated as well that the issue wasn't addressed properly. Hopefully things will change soon.
[locked]
But Soundwave is a Decepticon, ins't him? Why did he do that to you?
We can meet at The Habitation Wing, I will have a surprise ready. Unless you want me to pick you up and go for a little race first. [He would be up for that too.]
no subject
I'm less concerned about Tarn than Chromedome. Tarn hasn't exactly done anything threatening here before now... and with everyone watching him so closely, he hardly has room to do anything. Correct?
[locked]
Because I had information and he wanted it. Someone's faction - or lack of it - won't stop him, or anyone like him.
[Barricade chuckles.] Heh, I'm pretty sure you'd beat me soundly if we did that. Maybe we'll leave my dignity intact just this once.
no subject
He threatened Drift and Ambulon's life. Aside from that then no he did nothing. [Is bad enough for Blurr, though, and he's sure the man had something to do with Rung's murder. But since Blurr can't prove that he's keeping that to himself.]
[locked]
I'm sorry, 'Cade. What happened to him once he was discovered...?
[That made him smile properly, the first time since this conversation started.]
I would never humiliate you like that. Pro-bab-bly. What's life without challenges?
no subject
[locked]
A couple of my friends tracked him down and gave him to me. And I wish I finished the job.
Heh. Well there's challenges and then there's humiliation. I prefer the former, all told.
no subject
[locked]
No wonders you are so wary of this sort of things. [So is him.] Mechs came back to life too in Sacrosant?
So do I. Then, we can meet at The Habitation Wing,. And don't worry I'm sure we can challenge each other in some other way.

They did. In new bodies. Folks didn't remember dying there, either; leaving someone's previous body on their doorstep was a common way of saying 'you fragged up you twit'. And yeah. I'm going to make preparations this time, at least. Wary only helps if you do something with it.
I'm sure we can. I look forward to it; should be fun~

[Locked]
That's subtle. [Blurr is a bit disgusted by that information, no lie.] It was when you lived there that you decided to quit your side? [The claw marks on Barricade's insignias aren't hard to spot.]
We will and yes, I hope so.
no subject
[locked]
Subtle wasn't how many of us operated. Besides, if it works, it works. Don't gotta reinvent the wheel. [Barricade never had opportunity or reason to do that, himself.] It was. I didn't particularly appreciate the actions of the Decepticons there... and frankly, the Autobots were worth my respect for once.
no subject
[Locked]
There was no law system there either, I take it? [Sounds liek such a bad place to Blurr.] Might I ask what did they do to gain your respect?
no subject
[Locked]
Not particularly. The AI government the station only cared if you damaged the station, really. We governed ourselves. [Barricade loved it, really. Just enough wildness.] They listened, most of all. Them saving my life when I felt I didn't deserve it helped a little, too.
no subject
[Locked]
And no worked or build anything? What did you all day? Just fight?
no subject
[Locked]
We did odd jobs for the station, a lot. I ran a bar, personally. Occasionally there were... takeovers by another resident and we had to band together and stop them.
no subject
[locked]
Oh! Could you teach me how to prepare more drinks? I know the basics but Dead End is an awful teacher. Did the take overs happen often?
no subject
I could try. I was an amateur, really. We c'n see how it goes. And they weren't too frequent, just... dramatic.

Yeah. Shutting off the life support, fully converting Zones to their purposes, zombies... kept us on our toes.
locked
I'm sorry you had to deal with all that.
