[Lyra starts to say something then stops and glares.]

I don't need a babysitter!

...The junk pile. She moved our campsite though. We're on the far side of it now from where we were.

Pan! Why did you tell him that?!

Because he said to if you didn't!

[The feed switches to Audio as he transforms into his vehicle mode.]

And it's time ya came home, kid.

[Lyra is..well she's mad but she's also just plain upset. A part of her feels betrayed because of Pan telling Wheeljack where they are and another part of her just feels..well..]

I ain't got a home! I didn't have a home where I came from and I ain't got one here!

Lyra that's not true--

[There's almost a distraught sound to her voice before she huffs.]

I'm fine where I am.

[It doesn't take long for Wheeljack to get there. The Junkpile's coordinates he'd had memorized by now. So when that sportscar pulls in, he searches around, looking for the little girl with his headlights.

It took a few rounds, but he did it.]

[As stubborn as she might be, Lyra stays put, perched on some junk with her knees pulled up to her chest and her face buried against them. Beside her sits Pan, the small beagle guarding her bag of belongings, nudging her every now and then to try and get her to respond.

It isn't until Wheeljack gets there that Lyra stirs, head lifting a bit to glare at him.]

I ain't going to the stupid temple.

[Those lights flick. As if rolling his eyes.]

And why is that, kid.

Because I want to find out what's out there!

[And then she's pointing off towards the distance, looking rather determined.]

Strelok says that it's weird out there, that no one knows much about it. So I want to go. I ain't scared and I want to know if there's a way home!

[He inches closer, his engine giving a soft purr.]

Yeah? And what are ya takin with you?

I'm making armor, like my friend Iorek's. And I've got my alethiometer and Pan. I ain't a weakling.

[Got it?]

[He backs up slightly, pulling to the side and popping his door open. Kid...seriously. Just get in.]

You're gonna need more than that.

[Lyra glares for a long moment before she finally gives in and grabs her stuff, stalking over to the vehicle, climbing inside after tossing her stuff in rather unceremoniously.]

[The door shuts, with seatbelts going across her waist as per the usual.]

Not sayin' ya can't wreck with the best of em, kid. But at least get a weapon first.

[She's glaring out the window as the seatbelt settles, arms crossed as Pan curls up in the other seat, hunkered down as a cat now.]

I still don't know where you think you're taking me anyway, jerk.

[He starts the casual cruise back, not saying any more than he has to.]

I'll help you get your weapon, but until then, you're in the temple.

That's your ultimatum, kid.
