[He and his party have been returning for the last few days, a ragged, shaken group who are nevertheless still alive. They are survivors, and Megatron seems to take a sort of pride in that...walking tall and steady despite an obvious limp. A few blades are slung from his back like trophies, and one or two still have alien-looking hands attached at the hilt.]

I must admit concession to whoever told me it was folly to approach the badlands.

[Here he is. Returned. He wishes he could say it was a relief.]

You were right...

...but so was I.

[He tosses a blade down, letting it imbed in the safe soil at his feet.] Their numbers are greater than ours. If they should attack at full strength, I doubt we would last long.

So why do they not attack us yet?

[He smirks, but it's a bitter smirk.] I have a theory.

We may even be able to use it to our advantage.

Those who offered their support are welcome to this information. Those who did not? Well. We're all in this together, aren't we?

[It doesn't mean he's going to tell. Not right away.]

I'll be at the Hub if anyone wants to hear our stories. If there are any medics thinking about attending...you'll be needed.

[The ones who had come along had done amazingly given the lack of facilities and traveling circumstances, and more weren't going to hurt.]

[He's certain he recognizes the voice for a moment, even though it's not as he remembers it...and he looks over, seated comfortably around a single cube of energon. Business and pleasure mixed well, so long as neither was indulged too deeply.]

That depends.

[He gestured to the seat next to him.]

On you.

[She glances towards the indicated seat before turning all eight eyes back to the much larger bot. When she does finally drops down from her ceiling hiding spot and transforms half way through the free fall.

Whatever he was expecting, hopefully he won't be too disappointed by the tiny bot.]

And what exactly do you mean by that.

[She's smaller than he thought she would be...but...there are many, many uses for those who are small. Megatron's gaze is calculating for a moment when he looks her over, but eventually he smiles a pointy-toothed smile.]

[Her eyes narrow slightly at the way he looks her over but doesn't say anything. That's a look she's all to used to.]

That depends on what you need assistance with.

I have just heard that you are on the Law Committee.

That could be invaluable to someone who might one day need such influence.

[He pulls out one of the blades that he brought back, and sets it on the bar as if in offering. There is definitely still some fluid on the blade.]

And, of course, such assistance would not go unrewarded. You were wanting information, weren't you?

[Her optics are immediately drawn to the fluid still on the blade as she listens to him.]

I always want information. However, before we get down to business, lets set down a few grown rules.

[She tears her eyes away from the blade to gaze up at him for a few moments.]

I'm not getting pulled into any Autobot or Decepticon conflicts. I prefer to build things, not fight. I'm not taking sides.

[Pause.]

But as a Predacon, I think I might have a little more sympathy for Decepticons than most. Providing no one tries to scrap me. That sympathy might extend a little deeper depending on if you make this information with it.
