The sole purpose of the DJD is to hunt down Decepticon traitors. And I may be stepping over the line with information Drift may not have enclosed to you, but let's just say Tarn has called Drift out on a number of occasions, and that... video was addressed to him first and foremost.

I don't know what Tarn's next move is. If he'll come back and try to kill me again, or if he'll move on to Drift. All I know is, as long as there are former Decepticons on this planet, he's going to attempt to kill them. Over and over, if he has to.

The Firstforged have... I don't know. They're unpredictable. I don't know if this is all part of some sort of "plan" or if they simply don't care. I can't say the latter is completely true. I... Solus was the reason I had my new alt mode. [Which is gone now, whoops.]

And, where should I go? Could I go? I fear there's no place Tarn couldn't break into, somehow, some way. Even your blast resistant doors might be useless. I just... I accept it. I accept there's going to be no real peace or safety so long as Tarn's free. But I won't let that stop me. I just need to... adjust to the changes. [bitter bitter laughter] We are transformers, after all. That's what we do.

Unpredictable makes for poor protection. Especially if they remain apart from goings-on as they have so far.

I agree. If they want to remain neutral, fine. Whatever. But there's a point where they have to put themselves in the situation, and we have clearly reached that point on numerous occasions.

And, of course not. But what I meant was: I don't intend to hide and run away. [Even though right now he needs to hide for a bit, yeah.] But until we figure something out, evasive action is all I can really do. I can continue helping - in my own way - with apprehending Tarn, but for now, giving the police the evidence and information they need to do something with Tarn and lying low is... is all I can do.

Perhaps we can use that to our advantage. There are, of course, ways to dampen, if not completely extinguish the presence of sound waves.

And I've discussed this with Blurr before. If I recall, he wanted to use some sort of stasis device. A containment field of some sort. Though a direct attack to disable his vocalizer may be the best option.

A containment field wouldn't necessarily block sound from the interior, though. Not unless it was highly specific. Disabling all his systems, likely from a distance, would likely be the better option.

Right. But I'm not sure what sort of weapon can be used on Tarn and work. I can imagine the Firstforged could easily disable or even dismantle him - maybe not all of them, but surely someone the likes of Prima or Megatronus... [And God he's sounding a little frustrated here.] If Tarn is with Prima, Prima has to do something, right?

In theory, yes. One would find that to be a logical conclusion. However, experience appears to prove otherwise. They're rather loathe to involve themselves in anything at all.

... I found some mineral deposits, recently. They contain a great amount of energy per ounce. In short, if used correctly, they could be vastly powerful.

... Wheeljack does have a habit of leaving a spare grenade in the blast room, when he's finished using it.
