[McCrane and Blurr are at Police Headquarters, the bustle of the main room behind them.]
I understand that some police activity has been under suspicion of late. Although I would like to assure the populace that the matter is being looked into, this message is not about that.
This is about keeping the Haven safe.
We believe a dangerous individual is at large. He has now struck twice, and we have evidence pointing toward an intended third target. There may be others on his list as well.
Currently, we are advising all individuals to stay on alert for the robot known as Tarn, and any of his possible accomplices, from his same world or not.. [A picture from Tarn's most recent transmission would be provided.] If you spot him, please let us know im-me-di-a-te-ly and by no means try to confront him alone.
If you can help us find him...it would be for the benefit of all.

This would be your chance. We would appreciate your backup.

I have divided our current members into teams of two officers each, which will be patrolling the area looking for signs of the suspect. We have secured additional weaponry at the Headquarters. I will be remaining here as backup and to oversee operations. Prowl, Blurr...you may remain with me or form a team together.

Recently one of your glyphled, Ambulon, was severely hurt and driven to suicide. The Police Force is going to arrest the one responsible for it. I would like to know your stand on the issue.
I also know that Ambulon would like to speak to you. I believe that could help him to get through this hard situation.
[They are going to try arresting Tarn no matter what Nexus says, but having the FirstForged support would be great.]

[He thinks you have a better shot at finding Tarn than he does, and this is not a terribly complicated thing to coordinate.]
That was the strategy that we tried with Overlord. It...would have worked, except for the fact that he did not hesitate to attack the scouts. In pairs, we have a much better chance of one getting a message back while the other defends until backup can arrive.

I don't want to put anyone out there alone.

You want me for my detection skills, but you should also listen to what I'm saying about your strategy.
I guarantee that leaving everyone in pairs will make it easy for Tarn to ambush and kill each one. How long do you think one member will be able to defend the other against him and Kaon? You'd be giving them a death sentence while they wait for backup.
We need to gather our fastest and most agile and order them to survey the area. Thundercracker can perform an aerial sweep from a safe distance, Blurr is quick enough to cover ground as well evade them.
The rest of us need to wait until they're found and then move in.

However, if we're all in one place waiting for a signal, then if Tarn is across the Haven from us it will take too long to arrive...
And who knows what he can do in that time. If we're to have any chance of finding him, we need everyone on the ground and ready.
[He is firm on this, even if he wishes he felt more confident about it in the face of Prowl. He doesn't like to see that frown.]

McCrane, you realize that Tarn doesn't fear us? He's not going to try and hide.
