My sentience? It came from my first friend, Yuuta. The boy I have been looking for. He came and spoke to me, even though I was autonomous. He spoke to me as though I was a person, and treated me as such.

It... changed something in my A.I. chip. I suppose you could say I evolved.

I can choose, even though some people back home do not find themselves entirely comfortable with that. Though honestly if I went "rogue" they may see fit to have me hunted and deactivated. But I could choose that path if I wanted. I enjoy my job, though.

Hmm. I see- so that is how it all began for you then? I've been wondering about it, though everyone has their own piece to say on the matter it seems.

Miracles are just wonders of the universe we don't have the capacity to understand yet. The true nature of the Cybteronian Spark is the same way. We don't completely understand it, and it's difficult to research something that literally means life or death to you.

I'm deeply sorry that you're separated from him now. [He kind of thinks you're boyfriends now. Err, maybe?] A bond like that can never be replaced, but hopefully you'll form some new ones here to help take the edge off?

[He nods.] The details seem to vary between different universes, but many of the themes are the same. The caste system was created so every mech would have a place in life, a function, but it didn't take into account variables in the equation, like mechs who surpass expectations or others who want to explore different preferences.

Our very nature is based on adaptability and change. It was inevitable that such a rigid system would fail us. In the end corruption and elitism poisoned large parts of our society and when a strong enough voice spoke out to unite the disenfranchised and the malcontent then civil war began.
