I wish I could say being transported to another universe was the strangest thing that's happened to me.

[Despite his initial comment being fairly light hearted, Isaac is frowning.]

Assuming these robots haven't been loaded with the wrong data, I'm supposed to believe I'm on a planet called Cybertron? Can't say I've heard of it before.

[Sigh] At least I'm... safe now. I assume these robots have some sort of defense function - God knows I could use a break.

Anyway, the original broadcast of this video was to see whether I'm alone or not. Spending the rest of my natural life with these mechs isn't really my idea of retirement.

I have my suit functions and plasma cutter but... the former is out of ammo and I'm assuming with my shitty luck so far the latter is out of charge and my kinsis module has probably spontaneously broken as well.

Ah, they just might. One of them tried to squeeze me to death, not so long ago. Though mostly they fight with each other, at least. There might be fifty-foot tentacle monsters in the Badlands.

Unfortunate. But it should not be too difficult to repair, if you can find the right parts in the Junk Pile. Or to get ammo, either. It may not be a bad idea to find a regular gun.

It is not so difficult to find the Junk Pile. You can pretty much walk out of your temple and see it. It is the huge pile of junk, obviously. Though I think I can get coordinates to the place.

Ah, you'd think so. Unfortunately, the damn RIG is attached to my spine and you can't turn it off without the thing thinking you've died. It also has a penchant for cluttering my displays with warnings for completely irrelevant medical diagnoses whenever I do so much as stub a toe.

Yes. They used to be wolves, before the Zone got to them. Though Fang is just a puppy; he will get bigger and meaner. Maybe become psychic, too. Much easier to tame than the blind dogs, though.

[Strelok seems to consider the RIG for a few moments.]

I... suppose. It's hard to explain, but the suit does most of the work. The RIG on my spine is mostly for the medical scanning; what I have with me now is mostly mining gear. Long story.

Think of it like, uh, Iron Man. If those comics didn't exist in your universe then yeah, for lack of a better term and to keep it simple I'll just go with cyborg.

Chernobyl and Pripyat? I've... never heard of them. Then again, I haven't been on Earth since 2500 - assuming those are places on Earth.

They are. In Ukraine. One of the reactors in Chernobyl had a meltdown. Then something made it worse later and warped everything in the Zone - animals, people, physics.

Cultists, they are always a problem. Trying to make everything worse for everyone else, thinking it would be better, yes? No one was able to wipe them out?

In this case, cultists compose of the most mainstream religion in my universe. I was brought up to be open minded, but it's kinda hard when the results of their beliefs involve thousands of innocent people dying. All in the name of convergence. [He makes a disgusted noise that clearly has a lot of hate behind it.]

No doubt; the only thing that came through here with me was a crude Plasma Cutter I threw together, which also happens to be out of ammo.

However, as much as I've come to get used to needing to be armed, I think it wouldn't be that much of a good idea to make it clear to the locals that I'm looking for weapons.

If anything does come up I'm quite adept at running for my life, if I do say so myself.
