I wish I could say being transported to another universe was the strangest thing that's happened to me.
Assuming these robots haven't been loaded with the wrong data, I'm supposed to believe I'm on a planet called Cybertron? Can't say I've heard of it before.
[Sigh] At least I'm... safe now. I assume these robots have some sort of defense function - God knows I could use a break.
[Despite his initial comment being fairly light hearted, Isaac is frowning.]

Anyway, the original broadcast of this video was to see whether I'm alone or not. Spending the rest of my natural life with these mechs isn't really my idea of retirement.

Re: [video]
Well then, I'm sure you'll know how unpleasant it is. Especially when you run out of ammo.
I'm an engineer, not a medic; I'd really only be good for so much. We'll have to see if you're a good teacher or not.
Re: [video]
Try not having amo in the first place, that's even worse. Where they zombies? Ghost? Autobots?
When it comes to my kind you need to be a bit of everything. I don't believe many of them will trust an organic, though, but time will say. [Knock Out wouldn't trust you, no offense.] I promise you'll enjoy the assignments.
Re: [video]
I have no idea what Autobots are, but zombies are about right. Thankfully, not the kind where they spread infection via bite, otherwise I'd be dead five hundred times over by now.
[He frowns. Even harder than he was already] Living metal? I wish I could say I was surprised that most of them wouldn't trust an "organic", but given the reception I got after making a simple grammar mistake...
[Not gonna lie, he's starting to regret asking Knock Out for help. Maybe he was a bit too eager to meet one of the robots in person, and didn't entirely think this through. Oh god, where's McCoy and Strelok when you need them]
Re: [video]
Oh, no one important. That's the only kind I ever met. [He makes a wry face.] I did not know there were more than one kind, joy.
Yes. Some mechs have no patience but the real problem is that most of them aren't used to organics or never interact with your kind on a daily basis. Not my case.
[Oh, come on. He will say the conversation is going pretty smoothly considering well, considering everything. You are a human dressed like a military, he hates those...a tragic not!love story for the ages.]
Re: [video]
I take it you're not an Autobot, then. [He makes a mental note to ask someone else about what these Autobot guys are] Trust me, if it can kill you, there's probably a whole bunch of 'em.
I can understand that. I get the feeling some of them won't willingly let it go, though. Then again, if you guys are sentient there's no reason why you wouldn't be capable of holding grudges.
[Rude! He needs the suit to survive :( and true, they are doing well given the fact Isaac is incredibly conflicted about the entire thing and Knock Out is... well, Knock Out.]

Even if I were, that's important no more here. [Knock Out points to his glyph.] I'm one of Solus's, that's all that matter now. I will pay attention and let you know if any of those shows up here.
Oh boy, we are experts on that, just like any other race. The problem is that we live for millenniums. [A shrugs] Most are capable to have fun too, unless you they are named Prowl or Ultra Magnus.
[KO doesn't know, it's not rude P: See? Not so bad after all.]
no subject
That's true. I hope the other members of your race realise that. [Million year war? What million year war. I ain't heard of no million year war!] And, uh, thanks?
Autonomous being living for millenia? Wow, you guys keep gaining levels of complexity. Does it require a lot of upkeep or do your bodies have an aging process?
[He frowns slightly. Fun? What the shit would a robot find fun? He decides not to ask, figuring you'd be offended at his ideas of generic robot-y things]
no subject
Some do. [Yes, yes, you did boy.] I live to please. [Isn't it obvious?]
Rust sets in with time but it's all about proper maintenance and upgrades. I do not look my age.
Racing, for example! Go ahead, KO has been asked that before.]
no subject
I see. [He might want to investigate this rust and maintenance. You guys are so interesting!!!]
That seemed like an obvious one. Do you have social conventions and such?
no subject
[Very interesting. And dangerous, but mostly interesting
and dangerous]Define social conventions.

Stuff like birthdays or Christmas... hm, I guess you won't know what Christmas is. Uh, special events on the calendar?
[He feels like he's talking himself into a corner here]
no subject
Do I look like an uncultured idiot to you? Unless most bots here I do know what's Christmas. And Halloween. And all that.
[And he knows people dies a lot on Halloween, because movies told him that.]
no subject
[He blinks several times, clearly very surprised. You got him there, KO!]
That makes sense if you've been on Earth. I'm trying to keep ethnocentrism out of this conversation, given the circumstances.
no subject
I've been in many planets, festivities aren't just and Earth's thing. But yes, that's good.

What about celebrations native to Cybertron?
no subject
We didn't get to celebrate those anymore since the war started. We could celebrate them again here.
