... Starscream. [There's audible reluctance in Jetfire's voice.] Could you, er... come here. [Have some coordinates to a location outside Haven, which probably answers why there's a slight fuzz of static under the audio.]

[It might be odd to call on Starscream when something... ahem... goes wrong, especially as he's doing it because he wants to keep some sort of dignity.

And Starscream has seen him at his worst. Otherwise he'd have called Skyfire for help, really.

... He's aware that he might end up having to do that anyway, but for now...]

[Starscream, if you record this...]

Hilarious. There was nothing indicating that the ground was weak enough to not carry my weight, you know. [He needs this pointed out, and that might be a bit grumpily said, even. He feels like he should have noticed.

There's also a sort of burpy sputter from Jetfire's engines and thrusters as he once again attempts to get himself out... which doesn't really work.]

I'd like to be out of here... er, sometime today, Starscream.

[Jetfire's optics narrow, because he's noticed Starscream hasn't gotten much closer to the edge and he needs him to - because while he can reach if he stretches his arm out, he can't move much further.]

[Starscream edges closer and bends down a bit to smirk at Jetfire]

Why? You're obviously not going anywhere.

[Very funny. Jetfire's expression darkens even more and he unthinkingly attempts to scrub off some of the sludge with one hand - which isn't much cleaner.]

Which is precisely why I need some assistance, and you ought to be able to generate enough thrust to help me out of here even if my thrusters' capacity is severely limited right now.]

[With that, he quickly reaches out and snags one of Starscream's arms.]

So I'd be grateful if you'd start pulling.

[Better think of what your answer's going to be, Starscream.]

I don't know. This is such a sticky situation. I might have to think about it.

[Even though one of his arms was grabbed. He still smirks.]

[It'd be endearing (if only a little) if he wasn't thoroughly annoyed, and Jetfire's wings flick with a tightening of his grip.]

Very funny. Think fast, then.

[Fast as in he's yanking on that arm fast, and Starscream will probably end up in this goo with him. He'll regret this course of action in a moment, right now, though...]

[Starscream made a noise that was half-way between a scream and a cat being strangled as he was yanked into the goo. This was certainly not a thing he wanted.]

WHY DID YOU DO THAT?!

[He's already regretting this, but maybe now the puns will stop.]

If you'd been more reasonable, I wouldn't have had to!

[He flings an arm out, but the goo doesn't go flying with it - rather it just sloooowly drips down, and not all of it does so.]

Your choice of humour wasn't quite sticking to the situation. [Oh no. Now you've got him doing it too. Jetfire's optics flicker with the realisation of what he'd said, but otherwise there's no other reaction.]

Now I'm stuck here with you! How are you going to get us out of here?! Did you even think of that?!

[He makes an attempt at flailing but it doesn't go very well]

And if you'd restrained yourself until afterwards, you wouldn't be in here with me!

[He might have tossed Starscream in, however. Jetfire pulls his arms up to cross them over his chestplates, strings of putty going from his metal to the goo surrounding them.]

You pulled me in! Now what are you going to do to get us out?!

[He really really doesn't like being in this goo stuff.]

[Jetfire doesn't like it much either.]

Well, the original plan was for you to assist me, but given the current development of the situation, we might have to bring someone else in.

[With a thrumming static sigh, Jetfire looks from Starscream, to the edge of the pit they're standing in; solid ground, so close and yet far away.]

Then hurry up and get someone else! I don't want to be stuck here with you all day!

Fine. Skyfire ought to be able to assist us both.

[He pauses, and then glances back at Starscream.]

I apologise for pulling you in, but one could assume you would be used to this by now... you have been stuck with me for quite a while now.

[Was that a grin? Maybe.]

You better hope Skyfire gets us out or this will be the last thing you ever see.

[If he could just shove you under the goo, Jetfire, he so would.]

[Skyfire didn't know what to expect from Jetfire's message. It just said they needed assistance, but not what the problem was, so couldn't help but be a little worried as he followed the sent coordinates.

And then he saw them.]

... oh dear.

I can think of worse things, and you have only yourself to blame.

[Bring it, Starscream---- oh, hi, Skyfire. Jetfire's expression twists into something between a smile and a grimace, exasperated and guilty both.]

Skyfire. We'll need some... ah, extra lift, I believe. I'd be careful about how close you walk.

[They didn't need Skyfire, who was larger and heavier than Jetfire, walking too close to the edge, on ground of unknown stability, and ending up in this as well.]

No! Don't help him! Just get me out! Let him stay.

[Starscream flung a goo-coated hand in Jetfire's general direction.]

He pulled me in here! It was unwarranted and he should pay by being stuck here himself for awhile!

You know I'm not going to do that.

[He's not going to ask any questions, either. Chances are he's better off not knowing.]

So, instead of walking closer... perhaps if I hover and reach down?

[It's probably lucky he had his faceplate in a palm when one large glob of goo-putty managed to actually bridge the gap between them instead of just dripping off Starscream's hand.]

My patience isn't endless, Starscream, and I've already been in here for well over a cycle. And that ought to work - it was, at any rate, what I was going to suggest Starscream do.

[Definitely not looking at him as he lowers his hand, nope.]

Well I would have done that if you had given me the chance and not pulled me in.

Which was still uncalled for!

[He looked back and forth between the two. It was now obvious: they were going to gang up on him.]

[... he definitely doesn't want to know. So he just does as he said he would, and hovers nearby, reaching down with one hand.]

Look, just... hold onto my arm and I'll pull.

Starscream, a few kliks of laughing---

[Jetfire sighs and, with a glance up at Skyfire, then dips his helm at Starscream.]

Pull him up first. I did pull him in.

[Otherwise there will be so much complaining.]

SEE! HE ADMITS IT! YOU SHOULD JUST LEAVE HIM HERE! LET HIM SUFFER FOR HIS ACTIONS!

... right. I'll get you out. Just stop shouting.

[And with that, he grabs Starscream's arm and pulls.]

[Jetfire's just... going to stare up at the sky, wings flicking at the yelling.]

I believe I'm already suffering, so perhaps my penance for pulling you in could be considered already past?

[That's totally not amused at all, no sir. Jetfire's keeping part of his attention on Skyfire pulling Starscream up, despite what it looks like, however.

They do need to know how much effort Skyfire has to put into pulling the Seeker out of the sucking muck, after all, since more would be needed when Skyfire helps him out.]
