[Video] [Transmission from: Solian Sector] - Eighth Offense
[Barricade seems to be in a slightly better mood than the last time he was on-screen. In fact, he looks rather pleased. Like a cat that finally managed to catch their owner's goldfish without being noticed.]
So. 'Bout a month ago, I was diggin' around in the Junk Pile and I found something from my world. Something big.
[He shifts, letting the video shift with him and that... that is a ship. It's got a lot of carbon scoring and bullet scars on it, but other than that, it's not in completely terrible shape. Barricade pats one of the rotating turrets on it.]
Been working on the poor thing as much as I can, and I think I've got her flight-ready finally. I was just wonderin'...
[He grins widely.]
Anyone want t'go on a test flight with me?
[Locked to Skids]
As I recall, I owe you a demonstration of a certain pair of appendages, and this seems like a perfect opportunity.
If you're up for it, that is.

[It wasn't exactly made to fly alone for long periods of time.]
Can do. I may be a bit rusty at it but I mostly know what I'm doin'.
[Locked]
[He stares up at the sky, where the right moons are in place regardless.]
Oh, wait, nevermind. I found it.
You're making those appendages of yours sound more and more attractive each time you mention them, you know.
[He wants to fly a ship, now. But he wants to see you do it, first.]
[Locked]
[Moons are generally pretty easy to locate and all that. He chuckles.]
I don't mean to, I swear. But when the supplies to construct and install them - and the energon for the recovery - were in supply, they were a popular upgrade. If a bit freaky f'r your coworkers.
[He can't say he's minded the ability to hack things the few times he's done it.]
[Locked]
Granted, this one hasn't been missing for megacycles like ours has...
[Still. Victory is victory.]
I suppose that depends on what you're doing with those co-workers, doesn't it?
[Locked]
[They didn't have moons to begin with so he's not sure what Cybertron's moons are supposed to be like.]
Mm, not necessarily. You ain't seen mine yet, but they tend t'look off-putting already, and... well. They come with a built-in reputation thanks t'my Soundwave.
[Locked]
Oh, and you have tentacles.
[That is also important.]
But you can...er...sheath them, right?
[Locked]
That I do.
[Which is only un-awkward about at the moment because piloting.]
If I couldn't, you'd've seen them already. I keep the cables outta the way, and the microfilaments don't come out 'til they're needed.
[Locked]
[Do go on.]
...
Say that last part again.
[Not that it will be any less disturbing.]
[Locked]
[He was wondering how much he could weird you out while keeping you intrigued.]
The cables have microfilaments. I hope you didn't think they connected through prayer and diligent effort.
[Locked]
[Then Skids would have something to fly, too! Well. No. But something to puzzle over, at least.]
No.
No.
Not exactly.
I mean, when I had shall we say 'dextrous appendages,' they did not come with microfilaments. I'm just documenting the differences, that is all.
When can I come see?
[Locked]
Mine, that is.
[As hilarious as the idea of them trying to get Blurr's Sentinel to play along is...]
Difference between combat-grade and data uplink, I guess.
And the answer t'that is, when are you available to see them?
[Locked]
Or better yet, I'll pick them up when I come see you, which...
[He pulls up his weekly schedule. For the most part it is free, but he made the schedule and he's going to stick to it.]
How about tomorrow?
[Locked]
Tomorrow sounds good. Gives me time to get any kinks worked out of the flight system, and to see what's useful in those files.
[Considering all of that dealt with Chicago, he'd prefer to remove all the irrelevant bits. Like the massacring and the death and general destruction.]
