Fortune shines on us friends! Several of us have been talking about the need for a Rec Center and Bar, a place for everyone to gather, meet up and socialize. It appears the Lambda has, well, gifted us with an extraordinary bit of definitely-NOT-junk which we should be able to use as building materials! [He's not quite sure what this "lumber" stuff is, but it seems like it might be useful?]

I think you know more about construction that anyone here right? Can you help us out with telling us what we should focus on grabbing to make this happen?

Hey, I know you're laid up mech, and we only briefly talked about drawing up blueprints for this idea, but are there any special materials that you think I should look for?

McCrane! [He's overjoyed!] I hope you don't mind me conscripting you for this? I'm at a bit of a loss myself really. You are feeling well enough I hope?

Sturdy materials? There seem to be bricks of stone-like substance, metal sheeting and beams, and sticks or slabs or organic material that seems strong-ish? Are any of those good?

Oh... Decorative? Hmmm.... [Oh dear...you've made him think about a whole new facet of this endeavor.]

[He listens to the list.] A combination of concrete and ceramic blocks might be best for the foundation, with steel beams to form the structure. You can use wood or metal for the walls, unless you want insulation.

I could draw you a schematic?

That's excellent, I'm glad you are back on your feet, we were all rather concerned. [Well he's got an idea, about the taste, not about it being bizarre.]

Hmm, I'll add those to the list. Would humans need insulation? I want to make sure they're comfortable as well.

A schematic? Sure! Soundwave offered to draw up some blueprints so maybe you should see what ideas he has, you could collaborate! He'd probably also like the company since he's stuck in medibay. I know he'd like a small stage at least, and I tend to agree since we do have a few performers.

[WIng's excitement is mounting. It was starting to sound like this was really going to happen.]

Oh, uh, what about tools? There are lots here, but they all appear human scale.

I am sorry to have concerned you. [Though, really, he's kind of honored that you thought about him. The friends he's made here continue to be a surprise.]

His blueprints will be an excellent place to start. [Wait.] Who is Soundwave?

[The tools take a bit more thought, though McCrane has an easy answer there.] What you'll need to concentrate on are ways to size your framework and ways to bind it. Saws will be invaluable, as will nailguns and welders. Brackets cannot hurt. I think there were some Cybertronian sized tools outside of the hardware store...

[Mostly because he just finished gathering a few of them. No, really, do you have any idea how nice a robot sized belt-sander is?]
