[Oh hey Haven, hope you're all having a good day. There's one trio of road workers that definitely are.

When the video clicks on, it shows Bulkhead's face. From the background it looks like he's standing near the entrance to Solus Primes temple. He looks happy, cause right now he's got reason to be.]

Hey, just wanted to give ya an update on the road. Though some might have seen it already. But for anybody travelin' between Nexus and Solus' temples, you'll be happy to know ya now got a road to travel on. [The camera pans around to indeed show the strip of smooth road, curing off into the distance.] It's got a name to it too, Bulkhead Boulevard. [There's hesitation and a grimace at the road name. Skids, how did he ever let you convince him to name it after him? By the look of it, he might be thinking of trying to still get it changed.

But his face brightens again as he keeps going]

And more good news. [The camera pans down to show his feet, and him standing...on the same concrete as the rest of the road. He lifts a foot to stomp on it a couple times, before he brings the camera back up his face.] It's dry, and if it can hold my big backside, ya know I ain't lying.

[He chuckles to himself, before speaking up again.]

Me, Skids and Fracas are gonna take a few days for R&R before we start our next sections. Namely, we're gonna make roads that connect the Hub to both Nexus' and Solus' temples. [And now the camera will show the familiar road flags heading off into the distance, off towards the Hub's direction for those that know the location.]

Anyway, [And back to his face one more time. Are you tired of seeing it yet?] As usual, please don't mess with the flags, leave them where they are. If you find issues with the road, let us know and we'll fix it. And enjoy...Bulkhead Boulevard, there's a lot more to come.

[With one last nod, he turns the connection off.]

Well hey, you didn't start out a jet. But Maybe we oughtta see about naming other sections after other people. Like the Forged.

[He's sure they wouldn't mind. In fact Solus and Nexus might be annoyed that this section wasn't named after one of them for all he knows.]

Yeup, about a section a month or so, won't take us too long.

Still plenty of chances for people to get stuck, yeah. Picked out a song to sing yet?

Yeah. That'd be nice for them, after all. Hm. Maybe the roads that lead to the Hub? It'd be like... symbolic of everyone coming together as a community, or something.

[Fracas is bad at this but he's trying. And if Solus and Nexus are annoyed, then they have the perfect excuse for why they're waiting to name sections after them.]

And then getting around will be easier on everyone's tires. I don't know why we didn't figure out we should do this sooner.

I uh. Have a few I'm considering. Skids said if he loses I get to pick the one he sings, too, so I have to come up with something really good.

Huh, the side going from Solus' named for Solus, and the one going from Nexus' for Nexus? That could work.

[Hey, it's the effort that counts. At least he's trying.]

Well, there has been other stuff to deal with. This time last year I could barely walk out of mine and Jackie's room, much less do construction. [That makes him pause. Has it really been a that long?]

Huh, not sure what I'd sing. Maybe a rock song or something. Let Miko pick it.

Yeah. Just... y'know. A thought.

Heh. And I was too scared to talk to either of you. It's weird that it's been so long. Isn't it? [Fracas looks down at himself. They've certainly come a long way in a year.]

She'd probably know something decent. Most of what I like is stuff from the 80s.

Hey, it's not a bad one. We can talk to Skids, see what he thinks.

Yeah, it's hard to believe it's been a year. It don't feel like that long. Thing have really changed. [He certainly never expected to be friends with a Vehicon back then.]

All right. And then we need to figure out which road to name after him.

['Cause if all of them are having one named after them...]

They really have. But that's not a bad thing. It's... kinda nice, actually. How things have sorta changed for the better. [He never thought he'd be friends with Autobots, himself.]

Y-yeah. It's my favorite, actually. Admittedly because it's all gone downhill since then... [Don't listen to him, he just misses hair bands.]

And which to name after you.

[You need to be included too, man.]

Yeah, I agree. I can't say I ever expected to be friends with a Vehicon when I got here [His tone might be slightly teasing.] Not that I mind now, now that I've gotten to know you.

I...admit, Miko got me into the rock music. She likes it so much, even has a guitar and played it back home.

[He laughs, somewhere between sheepish and nervous.]

A Vehicon getting a road named after him? This place really is crazy.

Heh. I never exactly expected to be friends with Wreckers, either. But you're pretty cool, when we aren't trying to kill each other. [He shifts on his feet a little.] I kinda like it, honestly. You're... a lot nicer than most of the officers.

She does? Huh. I bet she's pretty good with that.

Hey, if a lowly Wrecker and construction worker gets one named after him, so does a Vehicon.

[If he can't get away without one Fracas, neither are you.]

Uh, heh. Thanks. You're pretty cool too, Fracy. [That last bit makes him chuckle.] Anybody could be better than Screamy or Buckethead.

Yeah, pretty good. She hasn't played in a while though. Think being in that committee thing is getting in the way.

And I'm guessing there is no way out of it, huh?

[Since he's not exactly going to let Bulkhead not have one named after him.]

Thanks. Never thought anyone would call me cool... [Fracas snorts.] Or Airachnid. Or Soundwave sometimes. Knock Out sometimes too.

[His higher-ups suck. A lot.]

Well, it's important work I guess. But maybe she should take off and do something besides that. She's still young for a human, isn't she?

Hey, Skid's wouldn't let me get out of it, and you're all for it.

[Payback man. He's not letting either of you out of this without roads named after you.]

Good thing most of them ain't here, huh? Ones that are, at least one is locked up. [And, really. Curse that whole clean slate thing. Their Megatron should be locked up too. But it can't be helped.]

Yeah, what they call a teenager. Hopin' to get her into that Megatron's school. But these few days, might see if I can get her to take a break too.

Oh so it's revenge. I see how it is.

[In spite of his words he's grinning. Embarrassing as it might be for him he knows there's no way out of it... and well. A mere Vehicon having a lasting (and commemorated) impact somewhere is worth the embarrassment.]

The worst one. Thankfully. At least when the rest of the officers hurt us it's usually not intentionally. [Death By Starscream's Boredom is very much a viable fate for Vehicons.]

Definitely. Somebody shouldn't work that much. Even Vehicons have time off on the ship.

[Yeah, he's got his own teasing grin. He feels you on the embarrassment though, He doesn't deserve to have a road named after him. Much less the first road. Really, one of the FFs should've gotten that or something.]

Problem is, she's the only person in her part of the committee thing. Since the other person had to leave cause they're runnin' for something.

Me? I would never- actually wait yes I would. Because you deserve it.

[The FirstForged may be demigods but they certainly aren't building the roads. Which means they can just wait for their acknowledgement... Fracas hopes.]

Seriously? You'd think they would hold new nominations or elections to fill empty spots, or something... isn't that how humans do it? Someone pursues something else and another one steps in to fill the vacant slot?

I do not. There's others here that should have it named after them before me.

[True, let's just hope they can be patient.]

Yeah...seems like stuff is more voluntary here, though. But I'll talk to her. She shouldn't be doing it alone. Surely somebody could help.

We also couldn't have done it without you. If it was just me and Skids... all we'd have would be an idea and maybe the blueprints.

There has to be at least one person. I know there aren't a lot of us, but there has to be someone with that kind of ambition around, right?

And yeah, there has to be somewhere. I'll see if I can get Miko to do some recruitin' for it. Get her some help.
