[Accidental Video]
[The feed comes on with a clatter and a shaking of the video until the device settles - apparently, it had been dropped or tossed aside? Thundercracker is in the field of vision, and it looks like he's in the Junkpile somewhere. He looks like he's . . . not quite himself, too.]
[The first thing people would likely note? His right wing isn't the customary blue with red stripe like his left one is. It's black with a purple stripe. Wait a minute . . . isn't that Skywarp's color scheme?? There's a tight-fitting collar around his throat too, segmented metal with a few active indicator lights blinking or glowing softly, and some small receptors and access ports as well. He looks like he's been in hard battle for a month straight with no reprieve, too - he's scuffed and dirty, his paint badly worn, his body gouged and dented. His shoulder rifles are gone, open holes left in his upper arms where the couplings would hook in. The Decepticon brands are missing from his wings - not as if removed but as if they were never there. About the ONLY things that look "normal" on him are the Glyph on his left shoulder and the sheriff badge mounted on his right. He's worn it proudly since McCrane gave it to him a few months ago, but now he plucks it off and looks at it, turning it over in his hands as if he's never seen it before and has no idea what it is or what it does. He starts to toss it away as well, but . . . something stops him. He regards it for another instant, then remounts it on his shoulder with a shrug before looking around as if to assess his situation.]
[Those who have known Thundercracker since he first arrived might remember how guarded and stoic he'd been - he's actually come a long way! The look in his optics now, however? Makes that Thundercracker seem like he'd been a warm and outgoing guy from the start. There's a chill in this mech's demeanor, a wounded and angry, closed guardedness far beyond even what he'd been before.]
Hmn. Should find some fuel, I guess. And a weapon. That was too easy, getting out of there. Has to be a trap of some kind. [He scowls darkly.] If Master's playing games again...
[With a rough snort, he turns to head deeper into the Junkpile, inadvertently giving the camera a good view of his back . . . which from his shoulders vents down over his pelvic unit and across both wings is covered in long, scorched furrows from electro-whips.]
((ooc: Uh, TC MAYYYYYYY or may not come back to answer comm responses. Actionspam, OTOH, is totally welcome! Initially, TC will try to run - he thinks you're there to recapture him =[ - but he can't fly, he has no weapons, his mods are disabled, and he's injured, so it'll be pretty easy to catch up and corner him if need be.))

[action]
No, but Megatron put him in a tank with some sorta metal eating fish once.
[If Skywarp had been from the proper point in time, he could've added "and Soundwave used Megatron in altmode to shoot him clean through, but not killing him, no".]
[action]
[The shift in Thundercracker is almost instant. If there's one thing that can get him from pensive to pissed off in record time . . . it's mention of that hated name.]
MEGATRON.
[The name comes out a low, rough snarl, optics blazing suddenly, his whole body RIGID with contained fury, the cube gripped in his hand tightly enough to threaten to crack it.]
That . . . that power-hungry . . . egotistical . . . sadistic GLITCH!!! That Pit-spawned fragger is the reason Vos is gone, that Starscream is dead, that you and I every other surviving Seeker anywhere is-
[He shudders, collapsing in on himself suddenly as he catches himself, /making/ himself stop his tirade. The cube falls from nerveless fingers as his hand goes slack, then he covers his face with both hands.]
You don't remember. You w-weren't there . . . of course, you don't know.
[He looks up at Skywarp again, his gaze painfully empty and lost.]
Be glad you don't know…
[action]
As it goes on, Skywarp shifts, grimacing a little - he has no idea how to deal with this, really. After a silent moment, his wings twitch in something like a shrug.]
... Nope. But why the slag was he the reason? Did he take over Cybertron before Vos was attacked or somethin'?
[This doesn't make seenseee.]
[action]
Pit, Warp, I remember when Iacon was just a city-state, not the seat of power of the whole of Cybertron. Iacon wanted to bring "peace" to the world, but their idea of peace was "do what we tell you or be destroyed and assimilated anyway". That's . . . that's what happened to Vos. We refused to be made a vassal of Iacon . . . so they destroyed us, and made an example of us to the rest of the world.
[action]
So, what... Iacon got there first, with what Megatron wanted to do, and they picked him up to use for that end?
[Maybe? He's not sure how anything could've led to that happening.]
[action]
I don't know. I never heard of the fragger until he showed up at our gates at the head of the entire might of Iacon.
[At a thought, he finally looks back up at Skywarp.]
…who is he to you? What happened in your . . . uh . . . version of things?
[action]
Uh... Something 'bout our purpose that the Council of Ancients were keeping from us, giving us something to do? I was mostly bored, and the fighting in the arenas were fun... as were scarin' everybody when we first struck.
{he shrugs, grinning briefly.]
Megatron's the founder and leader of the Decepticons. Others have been as well, he keeps comin' back though. Even when it looks like he's been killed.
[A pause, not exactly toughtful, as Skywarp rubs the side of his helm, mulling his own last comment over. Mech just don't go down.]
[action]
…Decepticons. You've mentioned them before. I take it you’re a member…? What are they? What do they do?
[If he hasn't already, Skywarp will note that neither of this Seeker's wings – either the blue one or the black – bear the faction brand, or any other markings. Well, except those of horrific abuse.]
[action]
Well, we were supposed to conquer Cybertron so we could realise our... uh. original purpse? [He shrugs, leaning back in his seat.] Megatron never really explained it much, most of us were just happy for somethin' concrete and more meaningful to do.
Then everything sort of turned into a civil war and whatnot.
[There might be a slight grimace on his faceplate at that.]
Stopped bein' simple and easy then.
