Do you ever get the feeling that you've done an exact scenario before but..you're pretty sure you've never done it?

Like 99.9999% sure checked your memory banks and everything.

[Don't mind Rewind here if he looks considerably bulkier too. He had a run in with a tank. And it ate him.]

[Yeah, that had been a bit confusing, but the explanation has Cliffjumper nodding, mouth briefly forming around a grimace. All the slag that happens around here, he swears...]

... What about the Link device itself? Though I suppose, if that's empty, maybe it's just 'bout interdimensional deja vu.

[He barely refrains from doing something like rolling his optics, because that just sounds silly.]

[He takes a look at it a moment, amazed.]

Erm, well. Like I said, have a look [Cliffjumper can't quite keep a straight look at Rewind and looks away with another shrug. How to say that either him unchanged or an alternate was here just a few days ago?] and I right now things ain't exactly normal 'cause of that giant pillar in the junk pile.

[Can you sense the mirth in his voice? He's totally stoked about this, as if Cliffjumper gave him a map to the lost city of this world's history.

No problem. [Rewind's enthusiasm teases a grin out of Cliffjumper before he nods, and since he was already out on one of the balconies of Vector's temple... he just turns around and angles his arm to show the pillar in the distance, rising upwards.]

That pillar, and no, it wasn't. We had this... pit-spawned storm a few days ago, and then when it was over, the pillar came down. Or somethin' like that, couldn't see.

[He grimaces, shrugging.]

When we could go out again, that thing was just... there.

...Whoa. So like...a storm came through and this pillar fell out of the sky?

[He seems to look up at that, as if wondering how a pillar fell through the atmosphere. Was that even possible? It'd have to be space debris at the very least.]

...So it's a pretty large new decoration to the place. Butttttt I'm guessing that's not the only problem.

Well, probably more like it fell outta that huge space-time anomaly everybody comes through and whatnot, but basically? Yeah.

[Cliffjumper shrugs and then pauses, eyeing Rewind for a moment. Rewind who is either here because of the pillar, or changed because of it, who the frag knows.]

Not really, no. Since after that we've either had people switched with alternates, or changed.
