Number I : The First Day [video]
[Axel wasn't sure what had surprised him more upon first opening his eyes; the fact the he wasn't looking up at Sora's sad-eyed, spikey-haired face silouetted against the backdrop of swirling colors that made up the scenery of Betwixt and Between, or the fact that he was still around to be looking at anything at all. He'd already been fading after that last attack, and he'd used the last of his energy to open the portal to The World That Never Was for Sora. He should be gone, faded back into the Nothingness that had formed him.
Instead, he was laying on something heard, looking up at a dark, metal ceiling and a... robot? What the hell?
The robot (who he noticed seemed sort of out of it, though who knew, maybe that was just how robots were) gave him a basic explanation of his situation and showed him to his room. A room that was obviously meant for robots, or at least beings, of a similar scale to the robot itself. Which left Axel in a bit of a predicament.
It took a bit of fiddling, but eventually he got the small communications device he'd been given to work. So hey there, Haven. Have an unfamiliar face bearing two small, purple, reverse-teardrop-shaped markings on it and framed by very spiky red hair.]
...There, think that's got it. Anyway, hey there. The name's Axel. Got it memorized?
Was just wondering... is there any place around here where a guy could get an actual human-sized bed? Or just a mattress? Or even just a sleeping bag or a hammock or something? Cause you know, nice as it is to get a free room, giant metal beds that I can't actually reach without teleporting or climbing really aren't my thing.

[Voice]
the Acolytes aren't know for their outstanding bright personality but they do not lie, I don't think they are creative enough to do it.
You seem to be taken this surprisingly well. [Which is new. In a good way.]
I can drive you there. We really need to work on a proper way of transportation for organics. So far we are building decent roads.
Right in the center of the Haven, it's huge and hard to miss.
Re: [Voice]
I used to world-hop for a living. Only difference this time is that I wasn't planning on it. Nothing's appeared out of the wood work to try and kill me so far, the locals seem friendly enough, and I've basically been promised free room and board. All in all, I've been to worse worlds. No point in freaking out til there's a good reason. [shrugs]
And that'd be great, assuming your car or whatever is more to scale with me than the room I was offered.
[In which Axel is as yet unaware of transforming. X3]

If anybody tries to attack you or threatens you let me know or tell someone else from the Police force, we will take care of the problem.
My alt mode is the size of an earth sport car, indeed.
[Oh, Axel, you are in for a funny discovery.]
no subject
And yeah, I guess you could call what we used a 'bridge', though we call them Dark Corridors. Like I told the other robot that replied, though, they don't seem to work here, so don't get your hopes up about getting off world that way.
[Axel just kind of smirks at Blurr's offer of protection.]
Thanks, but I think I can pretty much take care of myself. Sorta used to it by now.
[The next bit gets a raised eyebrow, though.]
'Alt mode'?
no subject
[Blurr gives him a sad smile at that.] I wasn't hoping that as much as others do. I wouldn't leave this planet even if I had the opportunity.
If you are sure...
My kind can change forms.
no subject
[Axel just nods at Blurr's desire to stay. It's one he shares for the time being, since going back would be... very complicated for him.]
And yeah, I'm sure. Good to know that there's backup around if I need it, though.
[The other eyebrow joins the first.]
So I'd be riding... inside you then?
[Axel isn't sure if that sounds interesting or a little creepy. Or both.]
no subject
[Going back for Blurr means being stuck alive as a crushed cube. Not a funny future.]
Of course. You can always ping me or some other member of the Police Force.
You will be sitting inside and I'll drive. [Blurr got this reaction before.] Actually allowing someone to take control and drive is...hmm...really personal for us.

[Axel going back likely means him fading away into total nothingness as far as he knows. Also not fun. So staying sounds like a good plan, yes.
He nods at the comment about being driven.]
Yeah, I can imagine...
Anyway, so... should I just meet you at the temple's front door, or what?
no subject
[Let's stay here together and be friend, Axel.]
There sounds good. Give me a few seconds.
[Video -> Action?]
But I'm a Nobody, which means I don't have a heart to worry about. Or worry with, for that matter. Course, that brings up its own set of problems, but it lets us work with Darkness more easily than most.
[Works for me, Speedy.]
Right. I'll be waiting. See ya when you get here.
[Axel cuts off the feed to Blur and waits for his arrival, continuing his talk with Ventus on another channel as he does so.]
((OOC: Up to you whether you want to play out the trip there or not. :3))
[Action!]
You don't? I thought humans needed that to live. [Now Blurr's completely lost.]
I will be there in no time.
[~And true to his word, there's a sleek light blue car driving really fast towards the temple. It stops at the door all of sudden.]
((ooc: as we talked on plurk, Blurr will come to pick him up, then we can assume the rest <3))
Re: [Action!]
[Axel is waiting when the blue car pulls up. Or rather, races toward the temple at breakneck speed. Axel is almost ready to duck out of the way, just in case the car decides to try driving right into the temple, when it skids to a sudden halt outside. Axel waits a moment, just in case the car decides to take off again, then approaches.]
... Blurr, right?
[The car was the same color as the robot had been anyway.]
[Action!]
[Blurr doesn't usually crash against walls
unless those walls are movingand he knows better than try to enter the temple in car mode. that would be rude. Axel had nothing to worry, he could control his speed most of the time.]That's it! [The car starts to move and twist, getting bigger and changing into a light blue robot with bright optic.] Nice to meet you in person.
Re: [Action!]
[And you seem remarkably chill about knowing you're talking to a humanoid abomination.
Later at the temple, Axel raises an eyebrow when the car that is Blurr talks to him... then jumps back in surprise as the car starts to come apart and reshape itself into a tall, slim, blue robot. When all that happens is a pleasant greeting, though, he relaxes.]
Same here. So... you really do turn into a car. Huh... wasn't sure if I quite believed you before, though it'd hardly be the strangest thing I've ever run into.
[Action!]
[You seem like a nice humanoid abomination so far, Axel.]
I do but other members of my species turn into different things: trucks, microscopes albeit a huge one, jets....Some even have more than one form.
[Action!]
[You'd be one of the few so far to think so, Blurr.]
Must come in handy for getting around. Or for when you want to... look at microscopic things, I guess.
[Clearly Axel finds vehicles more practical things to turn into than microscopes.]
[Action!]
[That's the magic of being Blurr. Axel's comment gets a chuckle out of the bot.] It sure does.
Should we be going? Where you ever inside a car before? [Blurr's subtle way of asking if he's going to be sick.] i drive faster than the average car.
Re: [Action!]
And yeah, so I noticed. I'd say 'bring it on', but then you might take me seriously, which could be trouble, depending on how much faster than average were talking; not really looking to be squished against the seat like a pancake, thanks. But if you avoid potential pancaking speeds, I should probably be fine.
[Couldn't be any crazier than fighting and dodging Heartless in midair in Neverland, after all.]
