[open][video][why always tentacles]

Hey. Haven.

There are a few points we need to discuss.

[And Skids, being the unofficial announcer of all 'Committee' things, was taking it upon himself to bring them up.]

First of all, as far as I can tell everyone is starting to return to normal. That's good.

[He didn't really like being on the other end of the whole 'not remembering' thing.]

However, the Pillar is still here, and the Firstforged are still not. I'm open to suggestions on how to deal with this.

[Surely someone had gathered some information that would prove useful.]

Second, it looks like Knockout has applied to be on the Defense committee. I'll leave the voting up to Black Arachnia, so if anyone objects to his presence let her know.

It might not be a bad idea to have voting for an announcer, too, unless it sounds like I have a good voice for a holocube reporter. I won't do the weather, though.

[Granted, it was something he could do, but...well, who knew how long it would be before he was bored of it on a world where 'dry and sunny' happened every day.]

Finally...

And most pressingly...

I need help.

[He doesn't even know how to go about asking.]

Of the medical variety, or the scientific variety, or the any variety, because...

Well. Lets just say Knockout passed on his special 'talents' before Barricade got to him.

That's all.

[He stops transmitting and hopes that wasn't too cryptic...but just in case it was, he opens up a private transmission to both Perceptor and Dead End:]

[Private to Perceptor and Dead End]

Specifically...what am I supposed to do if I...uh. Want the energon of the living?

What happened? The changes haven't passed when the rest of us... changed back?

[This is Jetfire rubbing his faceplate at having to think of the changes, and the pillar. He'd rather not, at least for the latter. The first was just... depressing.]

And while we need to take proper precautions considering that touching the pillar seems to create a range of different effects... and none or few of them pleasant, even less good or useful.

[Understatement ho!]

Precautions to handle the pillar so that we can neutralise it or destroy it, whichever might nullify it's effects, without being affected by them... [Trailing off, Jetfire eyes Skids, helm tilted.]

But by your comment, the changes made to you would require some additional precauctions while we figure out a way to counteract or reverse the changes, then?

[But the fact that the changes created by the pillar could, by some form of ripple-effect, be permanently (at least apparently) etched into someone else who wasn't initially affected is... worrying.]

Not... yet, no, considering part of the issue is that close proximity, not to talk about touching it, is dangerous. But I am considering going back soon, as we do need a way to remove it.

I wasn't presicely able [Or willing.] of paying attention to what happpened to Knock Out and in etension, you. What was the change he was afflicted with? Regardless, a sample might be a good idea, as well as a scan of your energy sigunature and spark... And a medic should probably be involved as well.
angleofscience: (confused - something isn't right here)

That... is an excellent idea. Perhaps I can get one of them...

[And then his thought process over getting one of the little "dragons" Barricade had made is completely derailed and he just... stares for a moment as Skids explains.]

You... er. When ingested, regular energon doesn't trip a response that you don't need any more? Or doesn't it register as "palatable" at all?

[This was... not good.]

And a medic should be able to take the samples needed, and I believe a medic would be necessary either way to come up with a viable solution, so that's a good idea.
angleofscience: (hmm - analyzing data)

I'd like to imagine so, yes. [Briefly, there's a smile before Jetfire sobers up; the topic is a bit too serious for any prolonged levity.]

However, I'm unsure my... er, specialties lie in anything that might be of help in the current situation, though perhaps there's a way to reroute or trick your fuel processing systems that the energon is suitable, as a stop-gap measure...

... Or pre-process it as it would be done in a frame, as that might also give us time to figure out what and how the changes are.
