Okay, that was weird.

[Thank you mister obvious. Not to mention a huge understatement. Seriously, what the pit. He liked Knock Out and called him boss, and thought he'd been a con instead of a bot.

.....and some how he'd known about space bridges. He groans softly as he rubs at his helmet for a moment before speaking again.]

At-at least maybe one good thing came out of it.

[After sending that message off, he stops as a thought hit him. His expression turning a little worried.]

[He honestly wasn't paying that much attention either. He had other stuff on his mind. Like worry about getting eaten, and whether Autobots would shoot him.]

They've been good got a good stretch goin' toward the hub before...that happened. Think I heard from that other Fracas, though, that they took a hit from a storm. So, we got repairs to do.

[There's a big of resignation in voice. But he shouldn't be surprised. They knew they would have to do repairs, he just didn't expect it to be this soon.]

[A year ago, he'd have NEVER considered offering any such thing. Work on a groundpounder path? Pffft, as if. Even now, at best he'd normally not even consider himself suitable for such work, whether he wanted to engage in it or not. But . . . he . . . needs a distraction, needs something to /do/. And . . . the harder and more physically demanding, the better.]

[Excuse him for a second as he just stares and blinks. Okay, he wasn't expecting to get an offer to help build them. Though it's certainly not unwelcome.]

Uh...sure, we can always use another hand. [His shocked expression shifting to a curious one, with a slight smile.]

What experience do you have in construction? [It won't change his answer, but knowing what to expect, and what they'd have to show him how to do, would be good too.]

["You're right, stupid idea. Forget I said anything." - he's about a klik from voicing those thoughts, but holds them in check to see how the Wrecker responds.]

[He's quiet for a moment as he takes it in, before he nods. He should've figured, but...it was better to check than assume one way or another.]

We can work with that, and show you what to do. Long as you're willing to learn.

[The Seeker appreciates the acceptance more than he'd thought he might, releasing tension from his wings he'd not realized he'd been holding. He nods.]

[Loosen up TC. Bulkhead's not that mean, plus you and him are on good terms. He was just surprised a jet would want to help with a road. Then again...Fracas is a flyer now too.

He nods at that, giving a smile. He knows how it is to be bored here too, and wanting something to do. Mainly why he got back into construction here. Just something to do.]

[There are those here whom he's come to trust to just accept him no matter what. Everyone else, especially Autobots, it still surprises him sometimes, subconsciously expecting to be rejected "on principle" or something.]
