Okay, that was weird.

[Thank you mister obvious. Not to mention a huge understatement. Seriously, what the pit. He liked Knock Out and called him boss, and thought he'd been a con instead of a bot.

At-at least maybe one good thing came out of it.

[After sending that message off, he stops as a thought hit him. His expression turning a little worried.]

[His frown deepens a tad - getting drunk doesn't really solve anything, why do humans (and Cybertronians, apparently) do it - but he wont' say anything, just nods again.]

I did, yes, thank you. Barricade took care of it for me shortly after we talked last.

[Which is to say after before that storm and . . . everything that happened with everyONE, Barricade included.]

Yes. He's been helping get a better handle on the lay of the land and how things work, and we've been working a few cases together.

You know him well, Bulkhead?

[He's just curious. It's always good to know how your teammates' friends and allies are.]

A little, yeah. Don't work with the police too often, but talked to him over the comm-link. Worked with him, and the rest of the force in a big take down battle a couple months ago, though. He's a heck of a fighter.

He is.

[No question in Deckard's mind. All of the Brave Police are excellent fighters, and he'd accept any one of them at his side in a heartbeat.]

Take-down battle? Will you tell me about that?

[Professional curiosity if nothing else...but there's admittedly a protective streak in there too, knowing one - or more - of his teammates were in harm's way.]

[Bulk turns more serious. They had lost people in the fight, others seriously injured. It wasn't a fun time for anyone.]

A guy named Tarn. He'd tortured and killed at least two refugee's here in Haven, and he wasn't afraid to show it to us either. But he's hard to take down. Strong, good armor, bigger than most of us and too good of weapons. Between him and one of his goons, it took a combined effort to eventually bring them down.

Unfortunately there were casualties, and those badly injured. But think all of them are up and walking around again. [But just to ally his worry. McCrane did survive.] But McCrane was there to arrest Tarn, when we finally took him down.

[Deckard frowns, nodding.]

I've seen Tarn. I'm sorry he was such trouble before he was apprehended. Those who were killed, have they . . . recovered?

[That’s still a very strange concept, but after seeing Ravage and Knock Out “come back”, he can’t doubt it.]

Yeah, but gettin' him ,and his cronies, behind bars. Where he can't hurt nobody else, made it worth it in the end.

[They went out to do a mission, and they accomplished the mission without many causalities. That was a big plus, even if the aftermath hurt at the time. Bulkhead gives his own nod.]

Yeah, they're all back now. Thank Primus. [And whatever else was involved.] It coulda been a lot worse, though.

From the sounds of things, I believe it. I'm glad for all of you that it's over now, then. And I will do what I can to make sure he stays there.

Thanks, Deckard. I hope he stays in there longer than Overlord did, and isn't let out by his Forged or something. [He can dream, but they'll have to see what happens won't they?]

[He shakes his head - he'll look into that himself, doubtless the case file is at the station . . . and he'll determine what can be done to /prevent/ such a thing this time.]

[He offers Bulkhead a grin and a salute.]

Roger! You too, Bulkhead.

Ask Blurr about it, and maybe McCrane. They know about that one.

[He wasn't in any shape back then to be involved in that fight, unfortunately.

The salute gets a grin out of him, and he salutes back before ending the feed.]
