[After he'd gotten the text from Miko he'd headed for Nexus's temple that evening. She hadn't told him what she'd been working on, so he was curious. He arrived of course, but didn't see her in the room. Where could she have gone? It wasn't like her to hide from him, specially if she knew he was coming. After checking the room to make sure she wasn't hiding. He checked the network, and his spark dropped when he couldn't find her name in the directory.
So he had set off to find her. She just texted him not that long ago, how far could she have gotten? The Haven was a big place. But he came up empty still, and searching as far as he dared to the badlands gave no results either. With a heavy spark, he returned to Haven, though not to Solus's right away.]
Miko...is gone.
[It's just a text from him, no video, no voice. Just a text, and a final one.]
If anybody needs me, I'll be using what's left of the pillar as target practice.
[Cause he just feels like beating on something, and their room had taken enough abuse already.]

That should be a good thing. It means she's back to the right universe. This is no place for organics.
Text
Right, yeah. She went back to her universe. [Even f he doesn't quite believe it.]
Text
There's always the possibility that she will be back one day.
Text
Yeah, I guess. Probably better for her to be gone, though. Too much goes on here.
Text
She might come back one day, you know that happens.
Text
It was something to look forward to. If not...maybe she was better off at home.]
Heh, don't I ever. But you're right, she's better off at home. Away from the messes that go on in this place.
Text
Keep seeing it that way, Bulkhead.
Text
Still can't believe I'm agreeing with you.
Text
I can be nasty to you if that will make you feel better. [It will make Knock Out feel better.]
[He doesn't know who Miko is...was?...but he understands that she must have meant something to the big, kindly robot. He really is sorry for his friend's loss.]
[He sounds...numb, and tired of it. He won't look at the camera, but he's responding. Too many gone, he should've expected it. Should've known it was coming. It seemed like people always disappeared most often whenever something happened.
[Audio]
[Audio]
[He just sounds resigned and tired of it.]
[Audio]
You mind any company?
[Audio]
Yeah, I wouldn't mind company.
[Audio]
[Audio]
[And he'll be out there, still taking a few pounds at the stump. It's good for pounding on if nothing else.]
[Audio] -> [Action?]
[It isn't the sound of a human's footsteps that herald Garrod's arrival, but the steady footfalls of a 56 foot tall mech.]
[Action!]
What the--
[What, what is that?]
[Action!]
Hey, it's me! Sorry, didn't mean to startle you, but I figured it'd take me way longer if I walked by myself.
[Action!]
What, what is this thing, anyway?
[Action!]
[The Gundam's eyes dim as the boy switches the suit off briefly so that he can open the hatch over the cockpit, poking his head out before clambering onto the top of the chestpiece.]
[Action!]
Humans on your Earth built this? Whoa. [He's impressed, and one used for good too.]
Wait, you're at war with aliens? Why? [Space colonies, he's assuming it has to do with alien species.] Huh, you must win a lot of battles with this thing.
[Action!]
I've won some and lost some. This is actually an upgraded version- the original GX got pretty torn up.
no subject
[Considering what that thing put him through....the sound of his canon warming can be heard despite not being on screen.]
no subject
I'm okay with company if you wanna join me.
no subject
Today.
[His smirk is wry, but he is going to transform and begin heading over.]
Have you lost friends before?
no subject
[For now. He's still not entirely sure about you, Megatron.]
Far too many from my world, and my team.
no subject
It takes all the fun away.
[And he hated it. More than he liked to admit, he hated how much like Decepticons Autobots had become--the oppressed, instead of the oppressors.]
...
[On the other hand, it was poetic.]
Then we'll give them a proper Kaonian sendoff.
The kind with explosions.
...
Controlled explosions.
[Since sending the Pillar down on top of them was counter-productive.]
no subject
[His Megatron was the one trying to oppress people. Which is ironic, as he was the one that started the whole trying to rise above the council's control.]
....
Ain't sure what a Kaonian send off involes.
But heh, I'm up for some controlled explosions involved.
no subject
[The wry smirk is back, though there might be a slight bitter-sweetness to it. It was easier to relate to those who weren't from his world, since they weren't embroiled in the same conflict. However, consorting with Autobots now meant it would be more difficult to fight them when he went home.]
It means you die to the sound metal crashing and crowds cheering. Those left behind celebrate the dead...and the brevity of their hard existence.
Explosions will do in lieu of the rest. Send me your coordinates.
no subject
[Seriously. It's weird having friends that are Decepticons. Or getting a long with them. If you told Bulk that a year ago, he probably would've punched you.]
.....lemme guess, gladiator of Kaon?
[Still, he'll ping him with coordinates.]
no subject
For what it is worth, I am pleased that there are those out there who can see past them.
[Of course, Megatron has his own prejudice to get past, but he's never had to deal with facing down the council since he left his homeworld. Then...then, he'd have difficulty restraining himself.]
How did you guess?
[Coordinates received...large tank heading your way.]
no subject
[Bulk's still got a bit of a dislike for Megatron, old habits die hard. Since his effectively started the war, and a war that later would kill their world. But he's trying.]
You mentioned a Koanian send off. Plus...the Megatron from my world was a Kaon gladiator, too. I just made a guess from there.
no subject
Granted, if I were a few millennia deep into this war I can't imagine that I would be willing.
[He's learned, a little, why older Megatrons were so stubborn and bitter. It didn't stop him from being stubborn and bitter, of course, but it did give him an alternative.]
I wonder if he went through what I did, then...but I will not ask that now. I don't want to discuss it now, lest it ignite my temper.
[On the other hand, anger did help when giving a Kaonian send-off.]
So who are we lauding today?
no subject
I personally would rather not see another war break out on this Cybertron.
[And yet still, there's been conflict and fights. To try and keep the peace. What there is of it here. Bulk's lost his Cybertron to war. He hopes it doesn't happen here.]
Nah, fine with me. I don't want to talk about him, if I can help it either.
...you'll probably laugh at the answer. [He assumes, he's not sure what Megatron's feelings on humans are.] But...she was my human partner. I was assigned her guardian back home. But we became pretty close, best friends, really. [Almost like his own kid if he were human.]
1/2 [Voice] -> [Action]
However, it isn't so easy to tell who can...adapt.
[He'd known the Senate couldn't. There had been more than one reason he'd killed them when he had the chance.]
If it helps, however...I have no desire for war on this Cybertron, either. Not unless it is a war against the badlands.
[There was a greater threat right now. That helped, too.]
...
[Megatron remains quiet for a while after Bulkheads answer, though...and the reason for this becomes obvious as the sound of tank treds approaches.]
2/2 [Action]
Was she your first human partner?
Let's hope she made it back home, Bulkhead. I'm pissed there ain't much more we can do, but it's all we can do.
She texted me to meet her at Nexus' temple, cause she had somethin' to show me. I showed up and couldn't find her. Couldn't find her name on the link...I even....tried to track her down, cause she couldn't have gotten that far. [The Haven was a big place after all, and Miko was still a relatively small human.]
I hope so...she doesn't belong in the badlands.
I'm sure she wouldn't go there. She's smarter than that. And even then... [He's stressssssed.] Don't we have anyone who can go and do a search in the Badlands?
[McCoy raises his hands.] No. No, there isn't. I've gone through this before; looked an' asked. At this point... [DEEP INHALE] Bulkhead, how 'bout you and I go for a drink or somethin'? Later today, or tomorrow. ['Cause right now he's stressed about this, he's stressed about having lost Jim (even temporarily), he just... Yeah, he totally empathizes, Bulk.]
....y-yeah I'd be up for a drink. [He pauses.] ...you know anything about makin' stuff oughtta paper?
