Blasted thing. My own communications aren’t working. It must be scattered or something. [The video flickers and Ratchet smacks it a few more times, to make it focus again, grumbling under his breath as he looks around.]

Ultra Magnus, Bumble Bee, if anyone can hear this, I require assistance. I don’t know if you can triangulate my transmission and find my exact location or not, but-- Oh, what am I saying?

[He rubs at his face, his mind raking for ideas.]

That bot said this is Cybertron but... it's not one I'm familiar with. [He pauses with a heavy sigh passing through his vents.]

For all I know, I could be just talking to myself with this thing.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Bots disappear and reappear around here all the time. Slag, I tend to keep to myself a lot when I'm not doing my job or something.

A lot of bots are the same way.

What does your job consist of?

I'm head of the Bureaucracy Committee. Which, is a fancy word for saying I take care of voting, and sometimes play mediator.

...And sometimes fill in unsuspecting new arrivals. When they catch my attention anyway. Otherwise, I'm one of the more science oriented types and end up fixing things from time to time.

I even fix medical equipment.

It's good to know that there are some more bots out there in the scientific field. It's hard to come by where I come from.

Yeah, I didn't. I came from being stuck on prehistoric Earth. We had scrap from our own ships to use and whatever else we could dig up.


A bot can get pretty creative with limited resources and an over abundance of Energon.
