There's no sense in repeating what seemed to be a firm answer, so he'll just roll with the punches. There's a click of the video feed as it shows Metalhawk's face, a bit intrigued by the new addition of the Link.

[He honestly couldn’t believe it. He felt the gun hit his body, the energy hitting his spark and causing immeasurable pain. By all accounts, he should be more than dead right now. He won’t even remark on his missing arm. It doesn’t matter right now.]

So this is not some form of the afterlife, but rather an alternate version of Cybertron. And from the looks of it, rather primitive.

[He gets points for cooperating and not insisting that he's perfectly okay. She gives him a cold look before sitting down next to him and sweeping her scanner over the worst of his injuries.

A frown tugs at the corner of her mouth as she transforms her tool into a blowtorch and starts welding any loose energon lines together. He'll be fine as long as she can get the worst of it closed.

If her bedside manner was warmer, she might have said that to him as a way to comfort him.]

[And he holds still, knowing that when it came to life and death (or returning to life), best to let the medics be the boss. Although when she gets the welding torch out and starts sealing off energon lines, he grips the side of the metal structure he's sitting on, biding the pain.
