Since everyone else kinda looks like they're asking if their friends are here, guess I should too.

[ that's the important part here. everything else? just a day in the life... sort of. ]

Or maybe someone's seen 'em? Riku is kinda tall with green eyes and shorter silver hair. Kairi wears pink, has kinda hair, and purple-ish eyes. [ pause ] Well Axel has red hair too, really. But he's super tall and skinny.

[ or he's just short, but. Sora hums, then just decides to go for it. ]

I dunno really how to describe the others, but I'm looking for Mickey, Donald, and Goofy too.

But yeah. That's all I can think of...

[You might not be so happy, Sora, if you knew how pissed Axel is going to be once this all has time to sink in and he realizes that he basically spent almost half his life being played for a chump.

But right now? He hasn't made it past stupified astonishment. He sits down suddenly on his bed. This is a lot to take in, even without a fully developed heart to feel its effects.]

I'm... guessing Roxas was another one who didn't turn out as planned, right...?

No one did, except maybe Xemnas and Xigbar.

But Roxas definitely wasn't working out. I don't really know much about what happened but... I know that Roxas definitely had a heart. I could feel it. Everything.

[This makes Axel wonder about Siax, but he doesn't voice it just yet.]

Hmph... figures. Xigbar always was an ass.

And yeah, Roxas was pretty much the biggest spanner in the works the Organization ever had. And... I think I kinda figured that out in the end. That he had a heart, I mean. Even if I didn't really know what it meant at the time.

Heh... It's still hard to believe, though. That I actually do have a heart. Or the beginnings of one, anyway. And you know, it's probably thanks to you?

Hm. I wouldn't thank me. I'm pretty sure you should thank Roxas for that. Come to think of it, I still don't know you that well.

[Because despite Sora's assurances, Axel knew that he hadn't been a good guy for quite awhile. There had to be better candidates out there to be a keyblade wielder than him.]

[ yeah hold onto that thought. Seeing Axel's face like that can only bring about one thing! And that is Sora breaking out in peals of laughter. ]

Riku and I had that same look on out face!

[OK, Axel can't help it. He starts laughing too, though not nearly as uproariously as Sora.]

Well, gee, thanks for the vote of confidence. First Ven names a chicken after me, and now this.

[ and when his giggles subside, he kid squints. Like he's giving Axel a once over. ]

I would think 'shocking' would be a better description for me weilding a keyblade. I mean, there had to be somebody better qualified than me to do it ya know?

[He just kinda smirks at the chicken comment.]

[Lightly tugs on one of his hair spikes]

And I dunno about that. Sure, maybe you didn't go about it the right way, but you were just trying to save a friend. I think it takes a strong heart to be able to do all that and admit it was wrong later. I mean yeah, sure, I was "shocked" and all, but really? I don't think it's a bad thing. Definitely a good one. I'm kinda glad you're on our side this time.

[Axel can be surprisingly chill when not in the middle of a crisis, as you'll find, Sora.]

Yeah... I'll definitely have some serious apologizing to do if Roxas ever shows up here. And I'm not sure if trying to fix something counts for nearly as many 'good guy points' if you're the one who screwed it all up in the first place.

But... thanks. For... [For kickstarting the development of his heart. For giving him chance. For considering him a friend. For taking care of Roxas for him. For telling him all this now. For thinking he's a better person than he probably is.] ...Well, just thanks.

[And because he's just now gaining enough sense to think of stuff like this...]

Oh, and hey... where are you, at the moment? Because if you need a lift to the Hub, I can provide. Much more human-friendly accommodations there than the room you get at the temple.

[ HOPEFULLY Axel realizes at that moment that Sora has no idea what Ven really looks like. ah hurr. ]

Axel will have to tell you about Castle Oblivion at some point, though, Sora. He's done keeping important stuff secret from his friends, since that's what bit him in the ass with Roxas.]
