Since everyone else kinda looks like they're asking if their friends are here, guess I should too.

[ that's the important part here. everything else? just a day in the life... sort of. ]

Or maybe someone's seen 'em? Riku is kinda tall with green eyes and shorter silver hair. Kairi wears pink, has kinda hair, and purple-ish eyes. [ pause ] Well Axel has red hair too, really. But he's super tall and skinny.

[ or he's just short, but. Sora hums, then just decides to go for it. ]

I dunno really how to describe the others, but I'm looking for Mickey, Donald, and Goofy too.

But yeah. That's all I can think of...

Yeah, I noticed that. Asked someone about it too. So...

Why didn't these guys have one? Were they bad guys?

[He shakes his head.]

No, not at all! They were confused just as anyone first waking up here... Some of those already here knew them from their worlds, too. That's how I met Megatron- he first arrived that way.

The main thing we were concerned with was that one of the earliest things we're told about the glyphs is that it protected us, basically. They keep us from Unicron's influence.

[heartdive]

Right.

[ he remembers hearing that when he first asked about the glyphs... ]

So what happened? They didn't get controlled, did they?

[happyduckbutt]

[Hesitantly, he nods. It's not something he wants to go through again.]

Something like that. At first they were okay, but then they just started acting differently. For some of them, it got to the point that they couldn't stop themselves from attacking others, and there wasn't any way to help them.

[His hands ball up into fists at his sides as he remembers Megatron's request of him. Even if he hadn't been the one to fight him, to have to tell others to essentially put Megatron down felt just as worse.]

...they had to be stopped. By the end of things, all of the Glyphless had been killed, either by friends or by the Firstforged before they could do any serious damage.

When others die here, they come back, usually, after a few days or a week. Not the same with the Glyphless. ...at least, that's what we thought. It was a long time after, but some of them found themselves back here again. They remembered most of what happened when they were here the first time around, and this time, they had glyphs of their own.

[ Sora knows that look. that stance. he's been there before, in a way. to be unable to help the people that you care for. to turn blade on your friend. to fight them when they are not themselves.

yeah. Sora understands. and its because of this understanding that Sora puts a hand on Ven's shoulder.

nothing he can really say about that. Sora hasn't been able to completely get over that feeling himself. he's pretty sure Ven doesn't need words anyway. ]

[Ventus lifts his head slightly at that, glancing at the hand that's been set upon his shoulder before he looks towards Sora himself.

It's comforting, although it's also sad to realize that his new friend's possibly been through similar. The nod he offers in his direction is hesitant, but grateful for the gesture.]

If you don't want to talk about that sorta stuff, that's okay too, you know.

[ it's not really cool to drag your new friend down, now is it? ]

I don't know what else to say, really. I just don't want it to happen again, and if it does, I hope we can do something before anyone gets hurt like the last time.

[He knows he's not the only one that was pained from the ordeal, and he wants to spare anyone that experience again if he can help it.]

I'm sure we'll be able to figure something out. Last time it took you guys by surprise, right? This time you know better.

...you're right. We won't give up so easily.

That's the spirit! We'll show that Unicorn guy!

[ wrong name, Sora. but it's the thought that counts, right? ]

[Close enough? It helps crack a smile back upon Ventus' face at least.]

Yeah, you said it!

[ good. this ship runs on happy faces.

if there was a ship, anyway. ]

So some good stuff has happened too, right?

Yeah, now and then. And getting to meet a whole lot of new friends here is definitely a plus.

[Of course, a lot of said new friends have slowly disappeared over the time he's been here, but he tries not to think about that. Besides, it's just a reminder that he should spend as much time with those he has met here, while they're here.]

[ it's a good philosophy. one that Sora would endorse entirely. ]

Some pretty big friends...

[He laughs at that, nodding.]

Most of them, yeah. I'm glad that they aren't fighting against each other either.

[Well, for the most part. There's been some instances of course.]

...But it kinda means that what's going on is pretty big too.

True, but sometimes that might still be ignored. While there haven't been any flat-out battles against sides, there are still some around that have hurt others...or worse.
