[The sound of one claw tapping on the Link comes through before the video flicks on, showing bright yellow optics and a lean face crowned with horns. Those optics blink a couple times as the owner of the Link leans back slightly.]

I am trying to find my brethren, Skylynx. He is silver and blue, with red accents, and is about my height. [He pauses, snickering.] But he is not nearly as pretty as I am.

If you have seen him in his other form, I am sure you know. Tell him that Darksteel wishes to find him.

[He shuts off his Link and shortly after something that looks remarkably like a robotic gryphon can be seen flying out from Vector’s temple, in a spiral that becomes increasingly wide until it ceases all together. He can’t help it if he’s catching sight of things he’s curious about. What is all of this, he’s never seen a Cybertron like this one. His is certainly less… new than this one.]

The big and green is bulkhead, the grey with the funny earsfinns is Wheeljack. [To be honest, Knock Out learned yours later too.] No, I think he does not. He remembers Shockwave and Starscream but I guess that it won't be too bad if you tell him about Predaking.

[Probably. Knock Out's not sure how that wibbly wobbly timey wimey lambda thing really operates.]

It's nothing. I like blue and gold, that's all. They're two of the FirstForged, the first cybertronians ever created and the ones in charge here.

Oooh. I remember the green one... I think I saw the other as we departed. [The Predacons had some business to take care of while the Autobots were busy with their speeches.] Good! He deserves to know that we no longer have to serve that fool Starscream. We have a king now.

Ah. They are very good colors. [He snickers a little as he says it.] So why do they leave marks on us? What do they do?

Bulkhead is hard to miss. [Kicking Starscream is a serious business, hm?]How come you accepted Predaking so quickly? I'm guessing you were talking about him.

Yes, they are. They go nicely with orange too. [Knock Out's smile is softer as if he's remembering something. Or someone.] They protect us from Unicron's influence and with time those might give us new powers.

Predaking bested Skylynx and I in combat. He is the strongest of us and worthy to rule. Starscream gave no such indication beyond electrocuting us. [Also he was a jerk and Predaking isn't.]

You knew someone of those colors? [You seem to be in a good mood, tiny red one.] The Demon has returned and is here? We must stop him again!

Starscream always choose the easiest way to do things, not the right one. You should have electrocuted him. You can still do it. Or melt him! [Wouldn't that be fun?]

I did, some time ago. He's not here. or anywhere, not anymore. [All he has now are memories but those are good ones.]

Unicron doesn't have a physical form but we can still fight him, hence why we get powers. The FirstForged can give us boons like more resistance, strength or the ability to make really fast calculations.

I have been told I will get in trouble and be thrown in jail if I do. Jail sounds boring. [He doesn't want to be stuck somewhere with nothing to do, that would suck.]

Oh. I am sorry, then. [He hasn't had that happen and he hopes it never does. He won't know what to do.]

... how do calculations stop the Demon?

Only if they catch you. No body, no crime. [Knock Out shrugs.] But I understand your reticence. Jail is really boring and dirty. [And that's what he hates the most. The dirt and not being able to do as he pleases.]

It's alright. Sometimes some things can't be helped. [Being angry at the world is an option, moving on is another. For a while, Knock Out did both.]

Ehm. These help me to do my job better and I'm a doctor so ... fix the mechs who fight against Unicron. [Hush, why do you ask those things Darksteel?] Talking about that, did anybody give you a check up after the battle?

Oh, I don't mind dirty. You should have seen some of the places we stayed with Shockwave. [Darksteel snickers quietly. It was never particularly important to him that the places he stayed were clean.]

I see. It simply seemed a little... odd, was all. [He asks these questions because he's young. The But Why game is still entertaining to him.] Check up? I cannot say anyone did. After any if our recent battles.

No? Then you could help me look around the junkpile for useful things. [He needs an assistant, specially now that Barricade is leaving.] You would be amazed at all the strange objects the Lambda brings to this world. A fifty-fifty split on all the things we find. What do you say?

It's a shame that Shockwave didn't take good care of you two. Do you know that you have a room assigned, right?

It's not as useful as having more tolerance to pain or extra energy, I'll give you that, but it works for me. [Knock Out is used to questions, he really doesn't mind unless those get too personal.] Hm..I can give you want but you need to promise not to light anything on fire. The clinic is brand new and my finish is delicate.
