We need public transportation.

[She says that with a tone of absolute certainty.]

Or, some way to get from one location to another quickly. It's difficult responding to medical emergencies when it takes me half an hour to get anywhere. Any suggestions for this would be extremely helpful.

[Being unable to move as fast as she'd like really annoys me.]

[Private to Shockwave]

Shockwave, may I talk with you for a moment?

[There's no turning back now.]

I could always come get you.

Then you should work on fixing my broken heart ... spark ... whatever.

The only thing that's wrong is how you scramble my circuits.

We're still working on the roads but had to have a temporary stop for a while. But to get public transportation, we'd have to build it and then find someone to run it.

Though uhm. Ground bridges might work, if there were enough of them.

Pretty much. They use a lot less power than space bridges do. I admit I... don't really know much about them besides that.

Maintained and manned. But the only one I know that knows anything about how to build them is Shockwave.

Groundbridges would the solution but you see any Groundbridge expert around here?

Might I ask what is your alt mode? An ambulance too, like Ratchet's?
deadlydoctor: (The fuck is that?)

[personal profile] deadlydoctor 2014-01-06 10:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Spacebridges exists in your universe? The function is the same but instead of traveling between planets or galaxies the groundbridges allows you to travel to coordinates on a single planet, or even into the planet's orbit.

I do but you won't like them. They're Starscream and Shockwave.
deadlydoctor: (Uhm? - looking)

He doesn't like to be disturbed and he's not exactly fond of Autobots. [In other words, watch out.] But he does like science, so appeal to that interest of him and you might won him over, at least for the time being.

You are welcome.

[Red Alert catches his attention, if only because of her solemn attitude towards her work.]

[She doesn't get a verbal reply. Just an expectant stare. Time to get right to business.]

[The question seems to garner interest from the scientist.]

This does not sound like a project typical of Autobot medics.

[Please, do go on.]

I believe Jetfire once mentioned having some sort of hovercraft. Not sure on their sizes, but...

I'm all for some form of public transportation. It would be... extremely helpful in my case as well, especially where emergencies are concerned.

Hmm. I propose we speak to Jetfire then. He's possibly our best shot when it comes to transportation, considering the hovercrafts and the fact he's managed to break through the atmosphere of this planet whereas seemingly no one else has.
