[It's been a while since Knock Out posted on the network. The medic has been busy testing out Solus’s gift. Now he’s smirking as the air still feels perfect and cool against his hand. The hand that he’s currently holding close to a really hot light source that should, at the very least, mess up his finish.]

This thing sure will be useful. [His attention gets back to the camera. Knock Out turns off the light source and puts away the flat metal device capped with a Solian purple gem that he was holding with his other hand.]

Looks like there’s some sort of epidemic going on and it affects both organic and robotic organisms. If I were you I would stay inside my room until things are cleared out. Unless you want to join the large number or residents in Solus’s medbay of course.

And talking about that…I can’t state often enough how much of an ill idea is to keep all your medical equipment and your medics in the same place. You might as well paint a giant ‘X’ on the door and write 'blow it’.

I got two new job openings in my clinic now that Barricade decided to play Indiana Jones and Flonne left a few weeks ago. More assistants are always welcome.

[He smiles some more and then turns off the video.]

It's not a complicated task. Your responsibility will be to schedule and confirm medical consultations patient diagnostic appointments, surgeries or upgrades. You also need to make sure the medii-droids are operative and occasionally kick out the crazy people who enters the clinic. [That last part might be less easy but he's sure you can do it.] I'll be doing all the hard job.

[ and usually you'd want people that actually KNOW that sort of thing. a little, right? what does Sora really know about medical stuff besides basics? he doesn't even know if his spells - when they start working correctly of course - will work. ]

But if you really need the help, I'm not going to say no. [ that's just out of the question! ]

[Sora, Breakdown had zero knowledge of medicine and he was the best assistant Knock Out had. He needs someone to help him with the paperwork and the schedule, not another medic that outshines him. Can't have that.]

It's a deal then. [Don't expect to get paid, kiddo.]

I'll teach you a few things too, just so you know what medical cases have more priority. [Such as mechs that come to the clinic either hearing voices or with purple eyes. Those have the protocol #1 priority and said protocols is 'keep them the frag away from the clinic'.]

Maybe because most people would ask, not tell. It's just not what I was thinking I'd hear.

Like I've said. I've lived on some islands for most of my life.

Surfing... A bit of fishing. A little sailing. I have a little boat that I use to get from the main island to the smaller islands. [ but it had been in plain sight so there had been no reason to take some of those lessons to heart. 8T ]

Can read a world map, though. [ kid can't read coordinates, but apparently what is comparable to a star map. gratz, Sora. ]

And does people in the islands don't work at all? Have you discovered the wheel already or....? [Don't mind Knock Out while he mocks your lifestyle a little bit.]

Obviously people have jobs. Most adults do, and that means my mom too.

I was fourteen when I left. That's not old enough to really have one, unless you want to ride around on a bike and deliver newspapers...

I think fifteen is usually when people start picking up jobs. A lot of people don't want to hire unless you have a way of getting there.
