This isn't quite how I thought I would be returning to Cybertron. Then again, I didn't think that I would find myself being pulled from one universe to the next like another I know of either.

Now I'm sure that those who are listening to this are likely tired of answering the same questions over and over again. I apologize that I have to ask said questions. Any mech who would offer more answers than what I have just received would have my gratitude and I would strive to return the favor.

I know... Jetfire and... uh, Perceptor's both got more or less functional labs. Not sure, but there could always be more 'round here too, 'cause previous refugees left things behind.

[It's annoying they still don't have that much in the way of equipment.]

Probably wouldn't be well-stocked if ya did find somethin' where ya could do science, though, so sharin' might be better? [Not that he knows either way.]

Labs?

[ uh oh. UH OH. something that is piquing his interest. with a lack of a war going on here ( so to speak ) this may give him an opportunity to actually work on projects that aren't for militaristic purposes. CJ is getting Starscream's hopes a little high here... ]

[Oh, Primus, what did he just do? He'd brought it up because he knew Starscream would want to know, because science, but the instant perking-up was both... uh, kind of sweet (he really did just think that) and alarming. Eyeing Starscream with an expression caught somewhere between surprise, alarm and then amusement, Cliffjumper nods slowly.]

Uhhh, yeah. As far as I know there's stuff in Liege's temple, too, but I dunno if you'd be able to access those. So your best bet is probably to share with other people and then get your own if it comes down to that.

[ can you hear how hopeful his tone is? like a child thinking of all the potential new friends he could make. seriously, though... CJ has practically made his day. sure, borrowing might be rough to start with...

Don't think he'd be the type to say no to someone else in the lab as long as there's space? Ain't talked with the mech, really, but... [A shrug.]

If I can draw parallels, he'd probably like the extra input, or whatever. viewpoints and whatever slag you science-types value.

[He grins there, expression softening his words, because it's not like he means anything bad.]

[ that's one of the many reasons that he has enjoyed working under Megatron. they are good like that and work well together because of it. ]

But I hope it ain't that bad, 'cause it's pretty weird drinking somethin' you know how it ought to taste, and then it doesn't.

[He was pretty sure he'd probably looked amusing to some of the Decepticons the first time he had to refuel and in a way it had probably been funny - but after a while it had been frustrating, and then he'd just gotten used to it.]

There will likely be plenty of opportunities to capture a picture for you to treasure, no doubt.

Can at least point out where the different temples are. Still got my... a jetpack, so we can do it from the air, too.

I still say you'd look dashing in a set of wings, but I suppose that jetpack of yours will suffice.

[He knows Starscream's just joking, but it takes him a moment or two to get his field under control and huff.]

I wouldn't be a good flier, so the jetpack is all that's fraggin' well gonna happen!

[ probably a good thing that Cliff can't see his front at the moment. he is grinning at his success. there's just something about making the smaller mech all flustered... ]

Well--- that's you! [With a slight sputter to the huff as he gathered his wits again and took the detour to pick up the rather hideously coloured jetpack he'd gotten here in Haven, he went after Starscream.]

[It was ugly (more like, similarly garish to Thundercracker), but larger and more powerful than his old one.]

Nah, ya made my jetpack better than what I had originally, and my rifle's one of the best guns I've got.

This thing was some sorta multiversal gift though, so it was better than the one ya upgraded... would be interestin' to see what it can do after you get your hands on it.

[Starscream was, after all, very good at what he did, wether it was weapons or something more non-combat related practical.]
