voice;

I don't understand it.

[Wow someone sounds upset. Again. Just when things were kind-of-sort-of looking up, too.]

We have a police force. We have a place to lock criminals away.

So what good is it if they just go free, and nothing's done to put them back! It's useless, isn't it!

[He's really upset right now, wow. Possibly with good reason... since there's a private message incoming.]

[PRIVATE MESSAGE TO: BRAVE POLICE UNITS]
There's another Ratchet here. He's... he's wrong. And he's interested in us.

Please. Tell me you're all right.

[Because he screwed up and attracted the crazy bot's attention. Oops.]

[does he really want to do this now? not really. it's going to happen sooner or later, though.]

That depends. Are you part of the police force?

[oh dear god. well, he's not malicious enough to try and have kagerou removed. especially because he doesn't know about The AI Thing.]

Don't you think you're a bit... naive for it?
primest: <user name="lylith-st"> (LET ME TELL YOU WHY THAT'S BULLSHIT)

There's no criteria to fill before you're suddenly not naive anymore.

[cause sentinel has done almost all of those and he's still a immature brat.]

If you weren't naive, you wouldn't have made such a childish broadcast.

Uh huh, cause you just suddenly wake up one day with clarity, right?

Seriously.

[he used to drill autobot recruits, kagerou. you're getting off VERY easy here.]

I'm not going to try and deny you've been through a lot. [assuming you weren't lying.] From what I gather, the longest people have been here is just under two years.

You can only develop so much in that amount of time.

[MM SURE IS LINEAR THINKING IN THIS CONVERSATION.]

What, take you away from everything you care about only to dangle it in front of your optics, then make you watch all your friends die because some idiot demi-god thought it would fun to let out a monster?

[HUFF. sentinel hasn't been through as much as kagerou, but he's still extremely bitter from being taken away from what he knew. of course sentinel's pains are more important!]

No-one has it easy here.

You said Megatronus let a "monster" out.

[personal profile] primest 2014-02-11 07:50 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, right. That.

[WHATEVER, MAN.]

My point is, you're acting incredibly naive - despite all the things you've said you've been through.

Yes, it's unacceptable that that mech went free - however that happened - but we can't just instantly catch them again. Especially when they're smart and keep their heads down. That's just... not how it works.

[personal profile] primest 2014-02-12 03:30 am (UTC)(link)
That's a good idea in theory, but there's too many ways for it to fail.

Even if we could develop a way to do it, how would we stop them from taking it out or breaking it?
primest: (really)

[personal profile] primest 2014-02-13 09:05 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, obviously the normal one. I'll see what I can do.
