Oh come on!

[ that is the distinct sound of metal smacking against metal at the moment. apparently someone in the clinic thought that it would be a good idea to shut them all in - Sora included. the teen doesn't really appreciate this. and his great idea? hit the door with his Keyblade. yupp. ]

Let! [ smack ] Me! [ smack ] Out! [ smack smack! ]

[ with a frustrated sigh, it sounds like he's giving up. ...well smacking the door with his Keyblade isn't really doing any good. only leaving scratch marks, really. he even slides down the side, arms crossed and looking frowny. ]

I think it's okay to unlock the door... Or at least let me out! Don't tell me that everyone has a panic attack that bad.

but here Sora thought that Knock Out had been about to put him on the ground and send him on his way. imagine his surprise. well maybe you don't have to. it kind of shows on his face as he looks up to Knock Out.

then his gaze turns towards Ratchet. Sora just offers a little smile and a shrug. Knock Out really isn't that bad, okay? ]

Or maybe someone's found him by now...

Somehow, I doubt it.

[He crosses his arms, skeptical.]

I know the police force have been working hard. But he escaped from jail once before. What's from stopping him from escaping again?

[It will even have cushions if you behave.

Knock Out looks back down briefly but says nothing. Don't you say anything either, kid. It's not like he cares or anything.]

I'm not risking it, not until know where is is. There's other patients in the meday, if he got inside he could get creative with them. No one wants to wake up with unwanted upgrades or missing limbs.

[Knock Out reaches out to open one of the cabinets and then offers Ratchet a cube of energon. He nudges Sora with his thumb.] Are you hungry too?

[ he snorts and shoves at the digit a little. Knock Out's totally ruined his indifferent reputation in Sora's eyes. ]

Since you're keeping me here? Yes.

[ looking over at Ratchet, he gives a lopsided smile. ]

Maybe they'll be smarter about it this time?

[He scoffs and takes up the cube of energon, sipping from it.]

Let's hope they'll lock him up for good.

[Ratchet says as a small shudder runs through his frame. Unwanted upgrades, missing limbs... that's not what Medics were for. His grip tightens a little on the cube as he thinks about it.

Well, at least he was able to get a hit in on the maniac.]

[Shhhhh, nonsence Kid. You are seeing things. He pokes Sora back, because why not.]

I must have some organic food around. Maybe. [He totes does, because Issac and Rose were both sick for a while and recovering int he clinic.]

Don't break it. [That was directed at Ratchet. Knock Out noticed the tension in his frame.]If you break it you clean it. Do you want me to call Bulkhead or Wheeljack?

Somehow I don't think those police guys will. They don't seem like the "putting a stop to it permanently" types...

[ but that's how he sees it. Sora shrugs again, dodging that poke. 8T Knock Out, he is ticklish. stop that.

then he laughs, his next comment a joke. ]

Maybe there just needs to be a dungeon somewhere.

No, I'll call them myself when I have time. For now, I need some rest.

[He takes another drink, which calms the Autobot a little.]

I don't think a dungeon would stop a bot like him. Plus, I'm sure he's made plenty of allies since he's been here, who are more than willing to help him.

Putting a definitive end to mechs like that Ratchet will only make them come back in a week. They should find a way to lock him somewhere forever. A dungeon doesn't sound like a bad idea.

[Knock Out looks down again and raises a brow. What was that laugh, boy? He softly pokes Sora one more time, on his side.]

He's as bad as Airachnid and the insecticons, if only we had the pods...

I really wouldn't mind seeing Wheeljack again, though...

[ more of an afterthought, though. Sora likes the guy, what can he say. and it's not like he knows that putting someone down just means they come back in a week. and that news is enough to distract Sora. that poke makes him snort and swat. 8V lay ooffff... ]

You don't have the stuff to build one here?

[ you guys are super smart robots, right? that's something you should be able to build, yes? ]

I'm not saying we would kill him. It's just. He's a madbot.

[He rubs at his faceplate frustratedly before he glances to Sora.]

A stasis pod could be easily built with time. But it would have to be sealed up tight so that no one but authorized personell could access it.

Do you know how to build one? Because I sure don't. [Knock Out is tech savvy but to a limit. Believe it or not, this sort of things were the ones Starscream could do with efficiency.]

You can contact Wheeljack and I'll let him in but no one's getting out. [In case you forgot that there's a psycho mech outside, Sora.] Now wait here until I come back.

[For a moment Knock Out's at a loss of where to leave the boy while he goes to get some food. In the end, he decides to try and put him on one of Ratchet's hand. That will hopefully keep them both from leaving the medbay.]

There. Don't move you two. [And he disappears from the view.]

[ okay he's being dumped on the cranky medic. that going to end well. Sora's hands just go to his hips for a moment, watching his "boss." like he has anywhere to go. yes, he can totally open those doors on his own, not that he is going to and it's not like any of these guys KNOW he can either.

so he'll settle with a bit of a half pout. ]

"Don't move" he says...

We had one on our base. I'm sure I could whip something up if no one else here has already.

[He takes Sora into his hand easily enough, having known how to deal with humans and their fragile forms. Ratchet blinks, watching KO leave from view and shakes his head.]

I don't see how you can stand him. [But he does peek towards the doors...]

Don't even think about it.

[ leaving that is. not unless you take him with you!

Sora looks up at Ratchet though, putting his hands behind his head with a yawn. it's not that hard of a question to answer. ]

It's obvious he cares though.That's what counts. [ he snorts a little, a grin on his face. ] You know? Cloud and Leon are kind of like brick walls. As much as they are really good friends of mine, I think it's easier to get along with someone like Knock Out. At least he has a personality.

[ Sora's quiet for a moment, biting on his lip. ]

Kinda think that maybe he deserves a chance too. I don't really think that he's had a lot of people that have had his back. [ Sora noticed how he reacted to being thanked. ] So... Maybe? Maybe that's all he really needs.

[Knock Out comes back a few minutes later with a datapad in one hand and a container in the other. The container looks microscopic in comparison to him but it's the size of a lunchbox. He handles the box to Sora.]

I got those from the pantry. I know there's water and food in it, just don't ask me what sort. [He didn't bother checking. Organic food and its secrets is beyond him. Then he gives the datapad to Ratchet.]

There. It's all the information I have about the Synth En, from my investigations back home.

[It's even listed the effects it can have in half organic - half cybertronian bodies. Just don't ask him how he investigated that. Ever.]

[He listens to Sora as he speaks. Optimus had appointed Knock Out, indirectly, as an honorary Autobot. But it was still something that Ratchet had yet to get used to.

But ever since he woke up here, on this strange version of Cybertron, Knock Out had been helpful. Annoying, but overal helpful. He shifts uneasily as he side glances at Sora.]

...I guess you have a point. But our past is a little complicated. It's going to take some time--

[He stops after that as he looks up to see Knockout and takes up the datapad with his unoccupied hand, glancing over the information. His Optics glance over the information.]

[ and that means Sora snatches the lunch box. hope Ratchet is comfortable, because he's more or less just going to go about his business right there, on the Bot. which means he's just sitting down to open it up.

for a moment though, he looks at Ratchet with a wink and a grin. yeah, it might take some time, but the guy is on the right path. some things ARE complicated and just because Sora doesn't understand why complications are a THING, he knows some people just need time.

THEN he looks up at Knock Out. ]

Thanks, maybe. [ smug little grin. ] Maybe not, depending on what's in here.

[He smiles at Ratchet and then looks down at Sora.] Only maybe, uh? You are lucky I didn't put anything extra in there. Like vegetables.

[It's not like they have them but Knock Out knows that children doesn't like them. He can help but be amused at the boy calmly making himself comfortable on top of Ratchet to enjoy a meal. That should keep them both occupied and away from the door.] What do you usually eat anyway? Ventus's chickens?

[He questions Ratchet next.] Were the humans you kept around the base always hungry too? Or sleepy? Because certain someone enjoys napping during work hours.

[Don't you think he didn't notice, Sora. yet he didn't woke him up.]

[Ratchet gives Knock Out a stern look, more than alright with Sora getting comfortable.]

You forget, they're human. They aren't like us. [He glances at Sora, gesturing to him with a hand.]

Young humans are usually very hungry. Their metabolism burns off the food in which they ingest so fast, they need food as soon as that energy runs out. And sleep as well.

Helps them keep alert. [Even if it was a little bit of a hassle, especially when he first worked with Raf, Miko, and Jack.]

I like some veggies, you know.

[ that's pretty much Sora's only comment before, you know, starting to eat. some of the weariness from his earlier casting his wearing away. young humans being hungry all the time...

imagine that.

too bad Sora's skipped most of that development you know, being asleep for a year. no awkward puberty phases for this guy. ]

Yeah, well. I think some robots need to remember that they need sleep too.

[ Ratchet. ]

I didn't forget, I was just wondering...[And to answer Sora's question.] We don't really have any. [Veggies, that's it. He's glad to see that the kid's finally eating, if something it means he won't go anywhere for a bit.]

I agree with him. [Intense stare, get it Ratchet.]
