[Texting? It's a bit beyond her abilities, considering typing mechanisms of any sort weren't exactly available in her tower. Not to mention that typing feels doubly unnatural with the alphabet all out of order and spaced strangely. Initially, the other two options aren't much better for her, and it takes some fiddling around before she gets the audio function to turn on.]
Um... hello? Am I doing this right? Can anyone hear me?
[Well, assuming she's using it correctly, here goes nothing.]
My name is Rapunzel, and while I'm sure that gigantic, talking, magic-living-statue person meant well, I really, really can't stay long. You see, I have a very important thing I recently set off to do, and if I don't go right back to take care of it, I may never have a chance to again... [She mumbles the rest of the sentence.] and I've kind of been waiting my whole life for it. [Ahem.] So, if anyone would be so kind to tell me how I could possibly return home, I'd be really appreciative.
[There's a small moment of thoughtful silence.]
But before I forget, by any chance, did someone by the name of Euge-- um, Flynn Rider get here before me? I know it might be a bit of a stretch, but I thought it might be a good idea to check.
[In all honesty, Rapunzel would be relieved to see a familiar face in this strange, enormous, intimidating world. That said, if there is some sort of hidden way back home, she'd need to make sure Flynn could return with her.]
Okay, I think that's everything I wanted to ask about.
...And I really do hope this strange thing is actually working and that I haven't been talking to myself this entire time.

[Hey, he's just being honest..!]
Well, an example, I guess? I mean hey, what're the chances of you being pulled into some alien world that you can actually breathe in? If we were on the moon or something, there wouldn't be any air.
[Audio]
[Looks like she might want to take her "ignorant to everything" peg up another notch.]
Oh... that's a relief. For a second I thought that you might have meant that everyone here could all end up dead.
[Not that she much likes being on this so-called "alien world".]

[Audio]
But things here are "safe enough", right? I mean, anywhere can be dangerous.
Just... not necessarily scary-looking like this place is.
[Audio]
I guess the place is kinda scary, especially when it's not some place you know, but it's pretty quiet here. Not gonna lie though, there was some kind of problem a little while back, around the time I arrived. I think the big guys took care of it, but I guess being careful goes without saying.
[Audio]
[She says it more to reassure herself than anything.]
Problem? What happened? [As curious as she is, she stops herself short.] I mean, if you want to tell me. If you don't, I understand.
[Seeing as it's been nothing but questions and confusion from her since he first responded, Rapunzel would rather make sure she isn't annoying him.]
[Audio]
It was some giant pillar, it stretched far up into the sky, almost like it could reach that big ol' rift up there. You see it? It looks like a hole in space...
Anyway, the broken base of the pillar's still by the junk pile, and that's all that's left of it. Heard it was a bad thing while it was standing.
[Audio]
...Then again, a lot of things here don't make much sense. Though that's probably just me.
[Given her first impressions of the people and place, anything seems to be possible. It's disquieting and vaguely unnerving to think about.]
[Audio]
...but don't worry about it too much. If there's stuff you're not sure about, or you need help with anything, then you can always ask. Makes these things come in handy.
[Audio]
[That includes you too, mister.]
[Audio]
[Audio]
Is that your name?
[Audio]
[Audio]
[Things are confusing enough as is.]
And it's very nice to meet you, Garrod.
[Audio]
[Audio]
[It really isn't a flattering name as far as meanings go.]
[Audio]
[He's not really sure what she means by that since having any sort of fresh vegetables in his version of earth is probably a luxury.]
[Audio]
..."Rapunzel" means "lambs lettuce" in German. It's a kind of cabbage.
[She is literally named after a vegetable. The more you know.]
[Audio]
[Audio]
It's okay, it's probably a little strange.
[Or is it? To be honest, she isn't sure whether or not it's normal for people to be named after food.]
[Audio]
It's different, but not so strange. If you don't count the part about lettuce, but hey!
[Audio]
I guess if you didn't know what it meant, most other people wouldn't either. That might end up being a good thing.
[Yeah no, it must be weird to be named after a vegetable.]
Anyways, thanks a lot for explaining things to me; it's been a huge help.
