[The feed flickers to life and a silhouette of a robotic dog appears on screen. It leaps up into the air, off screen and down lands a robot in its place. Upon standing, the robot smiles and bows to the camera.]

Greetings everyone. Now that I have adjusted to this new planet, I thought I should properly introduce myself.

[He places a hand on his chest.]

My name is Shadowmaru. I hope to become another valuable asset to our police force while I'm here. Then again, if you have any problems, in which require surveillance, I'd be more than happy to help.

[LOCKED TO: Deckard]

Deckard, I think now would be a good time for us to talk.

[LOCKED TO: Haven Police Force]

I know I haven't met all of you yet, but I thought I would say hello, seeing as how I would like to help in any way possible.

As you might have guessed, I'm a similar unit to Kagerou. We both specialize in stealth. Never hurts to have another one on the team right?

[The faces look a lot alike...]

Not at all.

[There's a pause.]

How are you feeling?

Yes I do.

[He tilts his head, crossing his arms.]

Are you a friend of his?

I would have been worried, if you weren't showing off.

[He hesitates too.]

I'm fine. Please don't worry.

From his world then?

Yeah. I'm keepin' an optic on him.

How can I not worry?

That's correct.

[He has to chuckle then.]

Let me guess, he's been getting into trouble while he's been here.

[Okay . . . he can't help the chuckle. One thing he's always appreciated about his teammate is his showmanship.]

Sounds good. Did you want to meet somewhere?

Because you know me, better than anyone here.

You would know if I weren't all right. Even if I tried to tell you otherwise, wouldn't you?

Eh, well. Who hasn't been gettin' into trouble around here?

He's a good kid though, I'll say that much.

Hmn. Hope you have better specialty in socialization. But yeah, stealth's good.

...so you're one of McCrane's then, I take it?

[He recognizes the symbol on the mech's forehead, though he only vaguely knows what it means.]

[Also, Shadowmaru might notice the "toy" sheriff's badge that he wears on one shoulder, opposite the shoulder that bears his Glyph. It's the badge McCrane gave him sometime after joining the force.]

Just stay out of the ceiling.

[He means that in the nicest way possible really.]

Where ever you'd like, Deckard.

If you're talking about Kagerou, he's just fine.

[A little snippy? Maybe.]

He is a friend of mine, yes. [He points to his shoulder.] Nice 'badge'.

Nah, I don't think so.

Well besides that crazy Ratchet lurking around, it's been pretty normal, I'd say.

I would hope so, yes...

I just want you to be careful.

[That gets a raised browridge. Hit a nerve? He'll remember that for another time. Just in case. He's not actually out to make enemies right now ~~though he's not terribly impressed with that other odd little sparkling of late~~. Especially not of one of McCrane's.]

[The last comment gets a wry, crooked grin.]

In Haven, you learn to work with what you can find. All of the police force here have one, whether or not they choose to wear it. For what it's worth, it was McCrane's idea.

[The grin fades a little to something more neutral. Just because he means this.] McCrane's a good mech, and he's talked about you a couple times. If you need anything, let me know. Name's Thundercracker.

Have you been to the police HQ yet? McCrane and the others designed it to be a lot like the Decker Room back home.

[Shadowmaru might like that bit of familiarity. He knows /he/ appreciated it when he first arrived. Still does.]

For now, yeah. It's been quiet. But I've been here a while.

It's always quiet before somethin' blows up.
