[The feed flickers to life and a silhouette of a robotic dog appears on screen. It leaps up into the air, off screen and down lands a robot in its place. Upon standing, the robot smiles and bows to the camera.]

Greetings everyone. Now that I have adjusted to this new planet, I thought I should properly introduce myself.

[He places a hand on his chest.]

My name is Shadowmaru. I hope to become another valuable asset to our police force while I'm here. Then again, if you have any problems, in which require surveillance, I'd be more than happy to help.

[LOCKED TO: Deckard]

Deckard, I think now would be a good time for us to talk.

[LOCKED TO: Haven Police Force]

I know I haven't met all of you yet, but I thought I would say hello, seeing as how I would like to help in any way possible.

As you might have guessed, I'm a similar unit to Kagerou. We both specialize in stealth. Never hurts to have another one on the team right?

What have you learned of the police force?

[He blinks a little before he taps his chin.]

I know most of our team is a part of it and... a few Cybertronians. But uh.

That's about it really. I would assume it's no different from back home.

Right.

... It is different, though. Most of these Cybertronians. They're soldiers, not police officers.

They know war. They... they're harsher than they need to be.

[Oh, well that changes things a little. But there's a sound of a smile through his voice.]

Then we'll teach them how to be proper officers of the law.

You're so optimistic.

[For a moment, he sounds amused, even hopeful. But it changes, quickly.]

They don't respect us enough for that. Especially Prowl.

What? Why don't they respect us? We have plenty of experience!

And what makes Prowl so different from the others?

Because we're AI. They aren't.

[Sound familiar?]

He's in a position of leadership. The other Cybertronians know him. Listen to him. Even Blurr, and he's been supportive of us.

Th... That shouldn't matter! We still think, feel... We're no different from living Cybertronians!

[Wow, that really ruffled his feathers.]

Sounds like this 'Prowl' is a pompous jerk. A leader doesn't disregard others if they have something to offer.

Some of them believe that. Most of them see us as... toys. Nothing more.

[He knows. But best it come now, so he can prepare him, he figures.]

You could say that. Rewind doesn't like him. Neither does Power Joe. Or McCrane.

Toys?!

[He almost growls in frustration.]

I'll show them what we're capable of. Just you wait!

What?

[No that's the opposite of what he wanted--]

Don't do anything foolish!

How can you just sit there and let them brush you off like that?! Or any BP unit!

That's not fair, Kagerou!

I know it isn't. Out of all of us, don't you think I know it isn't fair to be treated poorly... because of what you are?

But doing something dangerous won't help!

Who said I would do something dangerous?!

I said I would simply prove to them-- No. Prove to this Growl that the Brave Police are not to be underestimated!

Because when you have something to prove, you can be reckless... I know you.

[There's something pleading in his tone now.]

It's... Prowl. And what if nothing will change his mind, Shadowmaru? What if nothing we ever do will be good enough?

I-I know what I'm doing, okay?!

[And he will never mention how he was so reckless that he actually kinda died.]

Whatever! I don't even care what his name is anymore! He's a jerk! [He frowns tightly.]

Then we'll try harder.

I didn't say you didn't. Or mean it. I... worry.

[He's worried that's exactly what's going to happen here. And the thought of Shadowmaru dying is utterly unbearable.]

There's no question of that. [Prowl's an asshole.] I... don't want to see you do what I've been doing. Didn't you tell me to stop? To slow down?

But...

[He grows quiet. Kagerou had a point. But his pride, being brushed aside like that? It struck a chord within the BP unit.

He vents out a shaky sigh.]

Okay... okay.

[There's an echoing sigh out of him.]

I'm sorry. For upsetting you.

It's not your fault, Kagerou.

Thank you, for letting me know, ahead of time.

... Thank you for listening. I know that it isn't easy.

But you have nothing to prove, to me.

[Trying to restore some of that pride he knows so well.]

I know.

I just have to prove to others.

Not to the other BPs. Not to Kay. Not to those like Rewind and Blurr...

Prowl isn't worth it, Shadowmaru. Please.
