[The video feed, when it clicks on, is a bit chaotic, the picture jerking about roughly. What landscape that can be discerned in the image, however, seems to be near the border of the badlands. Something large, mechanical, and sharp suddenly slashes into the frame and then back out again, like a weapon being thrust toward the camera.]

AAhhhhh! Cease and desist at once, you arachnid annoyance!

[Perceptor briefly flails into view for a moment, looking a bit flustered, before he ducks out of view again under another swipe of that weapon. Or rather, not a weapon, as the view shifts wildly to pan across a massive robotic spider with very large fangs lowered threateningly toward the camera.]

[As the view swings wildly again, there are muffled thuds and thumps and the thick clang of metal against metal that seem to hint at an epic struggle. Perceptor looks much more harried when he bounces into view again.]

I, ah, seem to have stumbled into a bit of an inconvenience... wherever this location is. If anyone is nearby, assistance would be greatly appreciated!

[There is an odd, almost liquid sound that splatters into the feed, and a sudden yelp from Perceptor as a stream of thick, greyish goop blasts past his head.]

Golly Mister Wizard, you're tonight's special guest?

[A familiar face that he has not seen in some time! Not since he'd been taken to Gillanan III, at the very least!]

Wreck-Gar? Ah, yes, I do believe that I have been, er, tuned-in to tonight?

[His Junkion is pretty rusty.]

[Rusty or not, it's a familiar face and someone who actually understands him!]

Central casting is really bringing in new talent. Wonder what this means about the show?

[Perceptor is very rusty on his TV Speak, so he has to think about that for a long moment, with a small frown of concentration, before attempting to answer in a tone that's a bit more hesitant that he would prefer.]

Perhaps it has been rejuvenated for-- no. Ah, renwed! Perhaps it has been renewed for another season?

[He smiles eagerly, hoping that he got the reference right. While he adored "As The Kitchen Sinks", that daytime drama had been the bulk of his television experience. The Junkions, however, had fascinated him, and he'd made an attempt to learn their quaint dialect. He worries his lower lip, pondering how to phrase his question.]

What episode are you up to, Wreck-Gar?

[Wreck-Gar nods thoughtfully.]

Continuing adventures, same Bat-Time on a different Bat-Channel? Reaction from the studio executives seems mixed. No interviews yet for Wreck-Gar.

Mid-first season arrival. Fairly new to the cast, wasn't in the pilot.

[Perceptor thinks he got the gist of most of that, and nods, even as he ponders how to ask his next question. Of course, he never was very certain if Wreck-Gar appreciated his attempts, or if the Junkion leader was insulted by them or not. Certainly Rodimus never tried quite as hard to "talk TV" as Perceptor was trying, and they communicated just fine. Still, Rodimus did try, now and then. Perceptor shrugs and figures he'll keep it up until Wreck-Gar tells him otherwise.]

In the original series? Or this new spin-off, here?

[Spin-off is the right term, isn't it? Perceptor is pretty sure that's the right term. he hopes.]

[This is the first TV talk conversation Wreck-Gar's had since he got here. He's not about to give it up yet. And besides, he likes Perceptor. The Autobots very own Mr. Wizard!]

On the spin-off. Been on the original series for a while now, last Stardate was...

[And here he rattles off a time-stamp that puts him sometime after the incident with the Transorganics, but before the Hate Plague and return of Optimus Prime.]

[Perceptor considers that for a moment, tapping his chin with a fingertip.]

Hm. That is beyond my time-frame there. Interesting.

[Perceptor remembers that he's still speaking with Wreck-Gar and smiles apologetically before rattling off his own timestamp - just before the events of Zombie!Optimus.]

I have, however, been elsewhere for several years. Seasons! Several seasons! Ah... another spin-off, like this, but different. There were characters there from the original series but different episodes, too. And also characters from completely different networks?

[Yes, that sounds about right. Now, what's that term for giving the plot away? Oh yes!]

Kup spoiled later episodes for me, so it should be safe to share.

A rerun who went on to co-star in a new spin-off? Oh, those wacky networks!

New episodes full of exciting content, but also dastardly villains. But at least the Quintessons were almost canceled.

[Almost wiped out the Quintessons? Well, Perceptor wouldn't be too horribly upset by that particular loss of life, if what Kup had told him comes true in his own future.]

[He glances down absently at the glyph on his arm.]

[Perceptor nods; he will have to find more infomration about the various affliations as soon as he can.]

[Wreck-Gar shakes his head.]

[Perceptor sighs sadly, but nods.]

Yes, I have noticed. [Dry reply is dry. So is his frown, but it's clearly not directed at Wreck-Gar himself.] Multiple? Or just the one and his ego?
