Number V: Taking stock [video]
[Axel appears on the screen at a somewhat odd angle, like he's not actually holding the communicator.]
OK, show of hands. Or if you happen to be invisible- which I hear is the case for at least one person-, speak up.
I think it's safe to say that a lot of us are having weird- or at least weirder than usual- things happening to us recently. And it seems to be connected to these weird clumps of colored energon- that glowing, crystal stuff the robots use for fuel for those not paying attention. Thing is, if we're going to figure out how to undo all this stuff, we're going to have to figure out if there's some kind of pattern to all this.
Alia already seems to be on the scientific angle, but just having a simpler list for reference would be good too. That way people can tell what energon seems to cause which effects and where it is at a glance.
For me, I found some red in a rock crevice on the outskirts of Megatronus' territory, and now, I pass right through any solid objects other than the ground. Including people, which is just as weird as you'd expect it to be.

None taken. Though your average adult human can go about three weeks without food, which is closer to what energon is for you guys, if I understand it right. Water does different things.
Not that that changes the fact that my life is gonna start to really suck in a couple of days without it, of course.

Thanks. Why can't you survive with just one type of fuel, I wonder. Organic anatomy is fascinating.
Hm. Once all this is over come to the clinic, I'll check on you. [You almost worry him, Axel. If you die, he will have no one to complain about Sora.]

Heh, now I'm wishing I'd paid more attention in class though; I might be able to explain it better. Water is less fuel and more... more a combination coolant, lubricant, and basically just what lets everything work. It doesn't really power anything, but it's still necessary.
Actually I'm already there. Had to get Sora to set up my communicator for me after you went off to work on other stuff, since I can't even really touch that. Not surprised you didn't notice, since you've been pretty busy.
Might not be here too much longer though; gonna meet up with one of the other guys on the police force to check something out pretty soon.
[No, he's not about to tell you he's gonna use himself as a guinea pig with regards to seeing what happens when someone is exposed to two kinds of crystals.]
no subject
That explanation is more than okay, it gives me a better idea of how you work.
I've been running test to see if there was a way to fix the spine and Sora's sickness, that must be why I haven't noticed you.
The Police force?
[Axel, Knock Out would tell you that it's a shitty idea.]
no subject
Yeah, I joined up not to long ago. Better than just sitting around, ya know?
And I'm still gonna be here for a little bit before I go out to meet him, if you wanna do something now. Or would you rather wait til I got back?
[There might be more to test then, because as you said, shitty idea.]
no subject
Yes but...it's the Police force. Maybe I should scan your head and see if everything works well up there.
I rather wait now I have to cheeck on patients.
[Yes good. That's more interesting. Don't get killed, Sora would be sad.]

Hey, I've got exactly too marketable skills when you get right down to it; I can fight, and I can burn things. Figured I might as well but them to use. Besides, Blurr's a friend of mine and he's already on it.
[Not to worry, this particular stupid idea will work out for the best.]
no subject
Both really useful skills, the same as Skylynx. If you are sure then I have nothing else to say.
[Suuuure.]
no subject
And eh, it's not like they have me under contract or anything. If it doesn't work out, I can always leave. [Shrugs]
[And actually it will!
Though Axel doesn't know that yet. Shh...]no subject
Will they allow you to leave?
[Ohhohohoh Good for him.]
no subject
As for the police force... well I'm sorta surprised they let me on in the first place. But I don't know why they wouldn't let me leave; not like they'd owe me back pay or anything. [Given that money doesn't seem to be a thing around here.]
Besides, given that I can teleport and melt anybody's hands who tried to grab me, I'd like to see them try to keep me against my will.
no subject
How so? Because of what you are? I think they accept mostly everyone who is not murdering people and broadcasting it, if it's of any consolation. I guess...you have a point. I was used to the otehr way of doing things when I was a Decepticon.
Remind me to ever piss you off.
no subject
There's a psychological test you have to pass, ad I was kinda worried that'd do in my chances. But apparently not. And yeah, the Organization wasn't exactly the kind of group that accepted resignations either. Not that that stopped anybody who was really determined to leave.
I'll do that.
[More smirking. That little magic demonstration he did awhile back wasn't just for show.]
no subject
Rung used to be the one designing them when he was here. [Knock Out misses the little guy.] Like the Decepticons, except that no matter how determined you were, Megatron had always something to say about the matter. I still deflected to the autobot's, though.
no subject
And yeah, pretty much. I think that was part of the reason I stayed so long. Xemnas, Megatron... pretty much the same threat. Try to leave the group, and you're a dead man walking.
...Don't tell Sora, if he ever asks, but when I came to help him in Betwixt and Between, I kinda knew I wouldn't be coming back from it, one way or another. No way Xemnas would've let me live after going against him that blatantly.
no subject
The Kid sure is a great motivation to make people do stupid things. No offense. [He includes himself in that 'people doing stupid things' category thanks to Sora.]
no subject
And none taken. Sora has that effect on people. Though to be fair, the Organization was already after me for deserting and going off on my own. That was just the final nail in the coffin.

He left before I did, see. And I had orders to either bring him back... or eliminate him.
